Hello there,
I have been using MusicBee together with Wifi Sync on my Android and it has been working perfectly for a while.
Now, it stopped working, when I try syncing on the app it gives me the error message "server not found" and so on.
The one "variable" that changed and surely the reason for this is clear to me: I moved homes. My Windows is the same, my Android is the same, none had updates. So the ONLY thing that changed was my internet access. I have a new contract and have a standard Vodafone router and I assume the issue must be related to that.
On my PC, I am connected via Ethernet and on the phone I am connected to the same network via Wifi. That worked in this constallation like this before exactly like this.
The error message mentions checking the Windows firewall, but since the Windows installation is the same, I don't think this has anything to do with it, but just to make sure I doubled checked the MusicBee app is fully unblocked inbound and outbound anyway.
So...what could it be? When I access the routers settings via the Browser and login, is there anything there that could affect it and that I can change? Unblock something? I do not know enough about this sort of networking do be sure what I am doing.
Making a long story short: MusicBee wifi synced used to work fine, no updates whatsoever, now it says "server not found" and the only variable that changed is my home network. How to fix? Sounds like it might be easy. Thank you!
