I am using MB to retrieve podcasts for a small community volunteer radio station. The refresh button to retrieve new podcasts every hour is not working. Tried to do a manual refresh but does not work. Close out the program, restart and do a refresh and that works. Setup a task in Windows to refresh the program and that did not work. Every couple of days or so when I look at the list it has at least 2 shows or more (daily shows). I leave it open on the desktop. This has been like this since I have started to use it.
For setup:
Under preference: clicked continuously monitor and add to library. Under podcast: check for updates every hour, download the most recent one and keep most recent episode.
What am I doing wrong? Is it not setup correctly? Is this something tech support be able to fix it? Can someone help me with this issue?

I am not the right person to test MusicBee podcast-related issues, but reading the above:
I am impressed at how you've thoroughly investigated the problem and reported on what works for you and doesn't as expected.
(something rarely seen on first posts).

As such, it would appear there's a bug at play.
If this topic doesn't get moved to the bugs section of the forum for you in a couple of days, then I suggest you repost this there for further investigation.

Edit:
What would probably help further is a link to a podcast that updates as often as the above setting is concerned so that other users willing to test are able to.

can you send the subscription rss link?

are there any entries in the error log that correspond to the time you manually refresh? (help/ support/view error log)
and what version of MB are you using
