Nobody has really tested it yet because it is assumed to have issues like some previous version had.  THANKS!!
Well, I tested it for you, and it did present serious issues.

Or maybe I misunderstand what you were saying? If I read what you wrote literally, you are saying to substitute the newer bass version with a MusicBee version, but I am guessing you mean the other way around?

hiccup, sveakul mentioned 3+ .dlls: MB version (very old, but working with MB), newer versions, which had serious issues, and the newest version, which is unknown if it has issues.

i think you have done all right.

I love MB.
I need (and I mean I need it more now then ever) my music and love how MB (along with my android pal, GoneMad music) allows me to keep up on my libraries. Beautiful. Thanks.  Really, thanks alot.  Whoever the hell you are Steve, you are a mensch, a peach and much more.  Jingle jingle.

Just a quick note. I have been using "Aimp player"for years to listen to "Radio Paradise, main mix Flac w/metadata" for years. Yesterday I thought I would try Music Bee for the same function....Holy Smoke! What a complete improvement in the sound stage and sound quality. Really, I couldn't believe my ears.
I just wanted to say thank you, thank you, thank you!

I used to tinker with Foobar2000, then got fed up with it - whatever I did, it always looked like a piece of software from the nineties. MB looks great and yes it does matter.

Like most of us, I guess, I spent quite a few hours to get the most of it, a. going on a hunt to locate the numerous settings, b. understanding what they did, and c. choosing the right ones for me, testing them. The forum has been hugely useful in that respect. Many thanks to all the contributors. Even with a bit of tweaking required, the overall experience feels much more straightforward and intuitive than using Foobar2000.

Of course, I swore when, upon rescanning all files the first time, artworks went berserk, then assumed it was a rite of passage as I found so many testimonies of the phenomenon from puzzled newbies in search results. At some point the smoke cleared, and I could finally enjoy my music again.

Let it be said that MB is truly a fine piece of software.

MB just works perfectly, plays what ever I throw at it, even the radio stations and podcasts play seamlessly with zero lag issues.
Highly customizable and user friendly MB is my only music player which also goes extremely well with Pot Player (video), the two together are unmatched.
