Scan folders for New Files

Have had MB for many years, yet have never had this issue.  Anytime I open MB the "Scan folders for new files" popup opens and I can't get rid of it.  It will not close.  Each library I open it's the same.  I've tried reinstalling MB 3.5.8698 and Windows 10, but it didn't help.  I also scanned for malware with Malwarebytes and it detects nothing.  I love Musicbee; please help!!

by any chance, aren't you using some "service" programs like desksoft windowmanager, x-mouse button control, some autokey scripts, etc.?

Or a sticky 'Insert' key? (Although you would probably be having issues in other programs if true.)
