I updated to MB 3.5 Version 3.5.8136.36691 (11-04-2022).

When I tried downloading Pod-casts I get the error: "Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel" and nothing is downloaded.

I reverted back to Version 3.5.8122.38410 (28-03-2022) and all works fine without any errors.

I left MusicBee.exe.config unchanged while reverting. It's still the one that was in the zip-file with MB 3.5 Version 3.5.8136.36691.

It was mentioned somewhere that for recent MusicBee updates .NET 4.8 is needed.
Perhaps the issue is related to that?

I have .NET 4.8 since 2019-20, updated yesterday with KB5012125.

So I don't think that would be the problem, unless KB5012125 (security update) changed something.

Like I said the MB version before this one worked fine.

O.k., it was just an uneducated guess.
(just to be sure, you did also overwrite 'MusicBee.exe.config' ?)

Yes I did, with the one that was in the zip-file from the latest patch.

I did and it still gives the same error, although I tested it with a different pod-cast.

Because there are no new episodes to download yet from No Agenda, I used: https://feeds.megaphone.fm/WWO8086402096 for testing purposes, which I found on https://podcastindex.org/.

That gives me the same error as with the No Agenda Podcast.

I do not know if it's important in this case, but I still use Windows 7 (64bit - Enterprise Edition).

No worries it still gets updated every month :)

make sure you also replace "musicbee.exe.config"

if it doesnt work, you will probably need to stay on older MB versions as .NET 4.6.1 is soon to be no longer supported so I need to update to the latest .NET version

I did and it works, but in a sort of a "weird" way ???.

First of all thank you very much for this update.

What was "weird" is this.

I copied both files to update and started downloading pod-casts. The first 10 worked and then the same error happened again. Restarting MB did not change anything so I replaced the files again with the same files from the zip-file and now I am at 30+ and downloading still works.

No idea why, but it does.

You are right, at some point I need to upgrade to W10 or stay with an older version of MB.

But for now you saved the day :), thanks you!.
