Hi, I can't seem to even get MB to recognise my galaxy s as a device let alone sync with it- am I missing something simple?

Hey Loofah, if you go into edit, prefences, then devices, check 'detect MTP devices'. Does your phone appear in the dropdown menu in this window?

Thanks

No, I already found and tried that... I've also played about with the settings on the phone and different USB connection options. Am now at a bit of a loss!

Hmm, I'll guess we'll have to wait for Steven to have a look at this - since it looks like a program limitation.

Just out of interest, do you use built-in storage or a micro (or normal sized) sd card with your phone? I was just wondering if you could connect this directly to your computer with a usb adapter, and sync it to musicbee that way.

Good luck

Its a microSD but i'd rather not have to remove it every time I want to sync! Will wait and see what Steven says, thanks for the input

Still can't get this working so I guess I'm ditching MB! Shame as it seems to be a great piece of software

Sorry to hear about your issue. unfortunately steven is taking a long deserved break and will be returning early january.

So I just want to verify, have you tried it with  pc mode? If yes what shows up in my computer? You should have two drives. Make sure pc debugging is off.

I only ask this cause phones like the droidx work fine with mb so I don't see why your would have problems.

Have you tried plugging in your device with mb closed? and then open it up.

 thanks
Mike

I also use this mobile. It works fine for me. Choose 'Samsung Kies' to launch your MTP application.
