Fade time option on "Smooth fade when stopping" feature

The only bug bear I personally find is the abrupt fade when using the "Smooth fade on stopping" feature.

This can be applied in the "Sound effects" section by adding another fade out time option field like there is with the "Crossfade tracks for" fade field.
or having the crossfade time somehow linked to the stop fade time if easier, but not ideal.
I have had a good look around and noticed a couple of members saying the same thing a few years back.




 Q...Is there any possibility that this feature could be implemented in the future?...Thank you

I use this great player for background music on a karaoke show, but  the transition from stopping the music to a karaoke backing track starting is too abrupt, not smooth and flowing as it could be.

I have mapped a key to play/pause also. Although it's not strictly a "Stop" the fade times are the same.
