This might already be a feature but I don't see it. Here's what I would like to see.

-I add music
-It tells me "these files have tags that are missing data or are corrupted, would you like to salvage as much information as possible and fix the tags?"
-Answer: Yes
-MB fixes the tags correctly so that I might go in and edit them myself if needed.

Currently MB takes files that I personally checked myself with FULL detailed tags included and marks them as corrupted.
iTunes never did this. Am I missing something?
I rely on my media manager heavily as a dj. Please help.

It would probably help to know what format the files are.

You might take a look at the Tag Inspector and see if there are multiple tag versions attached.  That might be where the corrupt tags are coming from.

Also try testing a few of the problem files in a program like mp3val, to see if it finds any problems.
