Questions / "Analyze Volume" and "Permanently Adjust Volume" in "Convert Format".

Hi,

Does "Analyze Volume" do as it say; "Analyze", or does it also modify/adjust the tracks' volume?

What is the difference between "on track basis" and "on album basis"?

And what is the meaning of the 2 ticks: "alert when... " and "calculate a single... "?



In "Convert Format", what does the "Permanently Adjust Volume" mean?

And what is the difference between "tracks to same value" and "albums to same value"?

I want to know if there is a pre-defined month and day tag. Currently I am using the custom1 tag for month and day.
