I clicked on a tab 'Music' and got this error. Could not repeat it.

- Send To -> Playlist -> ... has been moved up one level in the context menu and now called "Add to Playlist"
- adding to a new playlist now pops up a dialog box to enter the new playlist name

Cheers!

yes i agree, now the left sidebar is hidden by default, handling playlists from the main panel becomes more important.
I will at least move "Send to -> Playlist" to the main right click menu level as thats available everywhere, not just the artwork panel

If you also could implement an option to name newly created playlist through "Send to -> Playlist -> <New playlist>" then that would be great. I think having to open the sidebar to give the thing a name is a bit cumbersome and not very intuitive for new users either. Maybe just a pop-up when one clicks <New playlist> to prompt for a name, with a default text 'Playlist' already selected in the input field?

I'm curious about the performance while scanning folders for new files. V3 felt extremely slow compared to 2.5 in my tests, there's also an idle at the end of the scanning process. Tested with more than 70,000 files / 316 GB.

In my experience, it's the opposite! When I did a refresh on my 'recently added' smart playlist there used to be a lag where MB got unresponsive, that seems gone now. :) But that might have something to do with smart playlists instead.
I use monitored folders.

Small cosmetic glitch in the search box. The bottom pixels of the text are chopped off. I typed a 'g' and it looked almost like a 'q'. I think it's just one pixel that gets chopped of.
Search box is in caption bar, font Segoe UI 9pt. The text looks a bit skewed down, just a bit too much below the middle, there's too much space above the text. I think two pixels up would probably look balanced.
Do you need an image?

I had stacked the lyrics and track info in the sidebar as tabs. Upon clicking a tab this happened,

Could it be possible to have lyrics displayed in the right sidebar?
Just drag the lyrics element to where you want it.

Thanks. I guess I was sleeping..  :-[

Anyway, I have found a little flaw that's related,
I have the sidebar on auto-hide. When I choose 'customize panel' from track information, lyrics and so on drop down menu, the customization panel is displayed mid screen, thus outside the sidebar area. But, when I move the mouse outside the sidebar, both the sidebar AND the customization panel disappear. So you never will be able to make any changes because you just can't get there, as long as the auto hide function is on and the width of the sidebar is not great enough (mine is about 1/3 of the screen and that's too narrow.)

To make things easier for me going forward could you send me your settings file if i ask for it? Otherwise i end up spending a lot of time trying to guess what the issue might be and it turns out you are likely separating the command buttons from the tabs bar which is not a common setting.

Well, of course, whatever i can do to help you. But you said I should send it if my font was larger than 9pt, which was not the case, so I didn't think you wanted it.

And, check, it's fixed. Thank you. :)

The box is unticked, but says Sergoe 9pt.

Default.

Changing to 10pt does 'fix' the problem.

I had not noticed this before and I'm almost sure that it was never there in earlier drafts.

The clear [X] icon of the search box, at least when it's in the caption bar, is larger than the box itself, showing some lines that fall outside the lower edge of the box.

Trying to open a video link through open stream, I get an error in a window, stating 'Unable to invoke vlc.exe' and the program becomes unresponsive for a very long time, after clicking 'Wait for the program to respond' three times, I just had to choose 'Close the program' to get rid of it.

And, yes, the directory was wrong, I fixed that. It's just that the handling could be improved. :)

The SearchBoxSplitter that indicates that you can, and where you can drag to resize the search field is currently not displayed in v3.
I would like to see it back, respecting the skin setting.
On my setup, the mouse pointer changes into the resize icon on the search field edge, but resizing is not possible, nothing happens when I click and try to drag to resize the item.
