Hello redwig,

so far i can see we talking about the same thing.
But you said:

Exactly in that point I experience a different behave.
If you could try to follow the below steps you should be able to reproduce behave/problem:

1.  open a Tab an click on  library node "Music"
2.  select artwork view and "Group by Album"
3.  open a SECOND Tab an click on  library node "Music" again
4.  select artwork view and "Group by Artist"
5.  select the fist tab again
> until here everything is fine
6.  click on  library node "Music"
> the artwork in first tab is switching immediatly to "Group by Artist" now (like it was set in second tab) instead of remain at "Group by Album" !
 
By the way, my MB version is 2.4.5322

No, what I'm talking about are these both views below ....
I called them "Integrated Main Window View" and "Streched Main Window View"

For the second view you can't have a visualizer tab currently.

Hello All,

I would like to give you an hint regarding a inconvenient behave of multiple music library Tabs in MB.

I'm using at least two tabs which shoes the music library content.
Each tab is set to display the content in a different way:
  Tab 1: Albums by Title - shows Album art thumbnails
  Tab 2: Albums grouped by Artist - shows Artist thumbnails

Usually each tab stores this view settings, but here is the problem:
If Music in Navigation Bar is selected and the view in Tab 1 is defined (Albums by Title) MB stores the current configuration GLOBALLY.
If you switch to Tab 2 and select Music in Navigation Bar, the view setting "Albums grouped by Artist" becomes reset to "Albums by Title" - same as Tab 1.
So i have two Tabs but I'm unable to keep separate views in it while i click on Music in Navigation Bar.
This behave is really annoying.

Would be wonderful if this could be implemented.

just a further point regarding that topic ...

if "V" is pressed to view "Visualizer Stretch To Main Window" it's impossible to toggle off the visualizer by pressing "V" again.
is there any way that it could work like that?

Another point is that the space for wave bar is wasted during you listen to any kind of stream sources.
Further more it would be nice if the wave bar background area could become transparent during stream source is playing. Otherwise there is a useless empty rectangle shown.

Hello,

I realy like to have the Wave-bar combined with Control-bar.
But i also like to have the classic track info text in the control bar.

Why not to give an option to display both?
The Text could be displayed as overlay. Mouse clicks on it always address the wave bar and jump to track position as before.

Here is an mock up:

(by the way, font name is "V5 Prophit")

In my opinion the wave bar is a realy nice feature to quickly analyze the overall loudness in connection to the track position, but it's not so much important that it is necessary to need to recognize each single peak all the time. Therefore an classic Track Info overlay wouldn't be disturb.
But to waive on the classic Track Infos at that position in favor of the wave bar is a little bit unfair choice

Hello all,

I realy like to have a Visualizer Tab. + I like to view the Visualizer stretched to the full main window (like in none Tab view).

Could you please combine the advantages of both to > Have a Visualizer Tab which shows the Visualizer stretched to full main window  
I'm not talking about full screen here - please have a look below.

You could put an option in the Menu/Visualizer/"Stretch Visualizer To Main Window" to switch between:
Integrated Main Window View / Streched Main Window View.
The Option "Show in a Tab" should be renamed to "Show Visualizer Tab" and is completely independent of the way how the visualizer is shown then.

Hello there,

I have a problem. How can i change the library album-art double click behavior  I'm quite sure that was possible in a previous version since 2.4. I would like that the album is playing instead of getting the track overview  
I just can't find that option any more.

Hello All,

since i switched from Winamp several years ago, i really really miss the stylish and customizeable Spectrum Analyzer there.

I know that i can enable a big one in MusicBee Main Player layout, but it consumes a lot of space and it lags so much.
I wish there would be a better graphical Analyzer in MB's control bar with at least following features:
- low latency
- selectable bands resolution, e.g. 5 to 100
- selectable peak fall-off time
- 1px vertical resolution

Hello there Everybody,

I was found a quite nice Metro skin for MusicBee (there are at least two out there i know) and i was fall in love with theirs simplicity.
Then i thought that it would be really nice to be able to add a window-filling background wallpaper to the skin, like in the following mock-up's ...

So far i know there is no way to create such skins at the moment.
How you think about to add such a feature? Would it be possible to add these option in near future?

Hello "scampbll". I updated to version 2.1.4841 and i had a look to the compact player.

Okay there is a wavebar but there is a seperate progress bar too.
So i can't see anything similar to what i was described and showed in the attached mock-up.

Hello There,
first let me tell you: I Love MusicBee - I just can't live without anymore

Since i discovered the Wavebar, i thought about that it would be great to merge it with the Player "control bar".

Let me count out some advantages:
- the hard to hit thin progress bar will be replaced by the spread Wavebar
- the Wavebar time resolution will become much more increased by stretching it over the whole space for the current title + time
- more tidy and efficient GUI utilization

To give you an idea of what i suggest, please review my attached Photoshopped screen shots.
