Hi All,
I listen to radio stations called Absolute Radio,
Absolute 60's
Absolute 70's
And so, on
They used to have a static URL for their stations
Eg:
http://edge-bauerabsolute-05-gos2.sharp-stream.com/absolute80s.mp3?aw_0_1st.skey=1680176273&aw_0_1st.playerid=BMUK_RPi
Now they have decided they don’t want third party software using their station.
They want you to use their player.
So, they are changing the URL on a regular basis to stop players like MusicBee working.
As an example the above link does not work now, but did yesterday.
Today's, working URL for the same station is the one below.

I can look up the URL changes with a web site radio tracker here:
http://www.radiofeeds.co.uk/query.asp?feedme=Absolute+80s+%5BA80%5D
But it’s a real time waster having to put 8 new URLs into MB for the new radio stations.
This Question is a bit of a long shot , But:
Has anyone any ideas in how to solve this problem?

Questions / Playlist problem on portable version of MB ?

Hello Everyone,
I have the latest version of MB, it is the portable version,
It resides on my 1TB solid state drive.
I have made a playlist up of 100 music files.
When I move the SSD from one PC to another PC
The drive letter for the SSD is always assigned another drive letter and then my playlist cannot be found.
Is there a way to fix this?
I have looked for the playlist file in the installed folder MB on my H/D
I have drilled down to a folder called Playlist: E:\MusicBee_Portable_Installation\Library\Playlists
But the folder is empty!
I have also looked through the files with the .ext of *.mbl, *.mbp
I cannot find it? So how does MB play a playlist?
Could someone help me out with an explanation?

Hi,Everyone,
I have MB on my main PC.
I have set a list up of radio stations I listen to.
I have a laptop with a new installation of MB on it.
I would like to know in which file the information is
stored for the radio stations so that I can open the file and copy the
information across to my laptop?

I am running the portable version of M/Bee version 3_4_8033
I can not fault it as a portable version.
So I am wondering what the advantages/Disadvantages there are of running it as an installed version?

Questions / I cannot remove a Playlist! Help Please?

Hi All,
I have M/Bee version 3.4.8033
Windows 11
I have a bit of an irritating problem here, that I am hoping someone can help me out with it.
In the centre panel where I display all my record from A to Z.
If I wish to add a song to my playlist I right click on the record
Drop down menu appears
Add to playlist
I see 2 duplicate playlist
It looks like this on my screen.
Press Ctrl to multi-select
Steve’s-Playlist
Steve’s-Playlist
<New playlist>
External playlist
I only created one playlist.
I have tried removing both playlist from within M/Bee and starting again,
which does not work.
I have located the program installation folder
C:\MusicBee\Library\Playlists\
and deleted "Steve's-Playlist.mbp"
and re started M/Bee version 3.4.8033
The playlist is still there?
How can I remove it?
Is there an *.ini file I can edit to fix the problem?
Any suggestions in how to fix this problem are welcome.
As A side Issue:
I have another PC sat at the side of this one I am using,

I have more or less sorted this out, and come to the conclusion that
My music collection is in such a huge mixed up mess that
It’s probably better and quicker to delete the software and start again.
It’s a bit like sorting a tangled ball of wool out here. Lol.
I have song title that are using album names and vice versa
Duplicates are listed, but when listened to are not duplicates.
As a side issue psychoadept, can I use my Google Drive URL Link when posting
Screenshot’s in the forum ?

Questions / Auto Name Missing Title for Songs ?

Hi All,
I am stuck with a problem; I have a huge music collections 50 thousand songs.
When I have the music, option picked and I am looking at my list of songs
The Artist list column is populated correctly. The Tile list column has loads of missing tiles for the songs.
Too many missing titles to hand type in. I need MusicBee to auto insert the correct tile for the songs.
I know MusicBee knows what the correct title for the song is, even though,
there is no text to label the song because if I go on search for tile of song it finds it correctly 100% of the time.
I have been trying to use Auto-Tag_by_Track. Without much success.
Maybe I am using the wrong option to complete the task?
I am sure what I am trying to do can be done!
Could someone please enlighten me in how to do this step by step please.

If you left mouse click on the empty space where the song title should be
the correct label for the tile of the song appears,but there does not appear to
be anyway to insert it into the Tags (track title).
When I have the tile of the song showing in text on the screen
I have tried copy & paste in the title box it is appearing in
which then returns to been blank.
There must be a way to keep the text on screen?

Hi all,

When I have my Playlist open and I am looking at the screen.
I see the menu bar Artist> Title> Album> Genre> Rating
Below that there are my favourite 50 songs listed.
When I start playing song number one, there is a speaker next to the playing song,
Also, there is a highlight bar which runs across that current row.
When song one has finished playing, song two starts playing and the little speaker moves to the next line below to indicate it is playing the next song.
The highlight bar stops on song one. It does not move.
What I would like to do is synchronise the speaker and the highlight bar to move together to highlight the whole current row.
Does anyone know if this is possible to achieve?
