Thanks for your reply.

I changed the upcoming tracks list in the AUTO DJ settings, but this changed only the number of the build in Playing Tracks playlist in MusicBee - Not the custom playlist in Theater Mode.

My guess is that this has to be done in the custom Theater Mode XML file, but I don't know how.

Any help would be much appreciated.

When I open the playlist in my custom Theater Mode I can only scroll down to track no. 200.

How can I increase the no. of my AutoDj displayed tracks in the playlist ?

Sorry, but I don't understand what you mean by settings tab and track edit screen.

How do I get there ?

I only found shuffle settings under preferences > now playing, but no option for keep tracks there.



There must a way somehow to accomplish what I'm trying to do, I guess.

Hi.

I have tracks in my AUTO DJ playlist which are Part 1 & Part 2.

How can I achieve that Part 1 & Part 2 are playing one after the other without being shuffled around in the AUTO DJ playlist ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

MusicBee Wishlist / Animated Background

I'm not sure if I asked about this before - Anyway here I go again.

Since the background images in TM embedded and TM are restricted to a .jpg image, I would love to see the possibility to have an animated .gif or .png as background.

No idea if this is a big thing to accomplish as I'm not a programmer.

Would be nice though, anyway.

...... this was never meant to be published, I did this just for the few things I thought that I need - Glad you like it though.

I'll upload the necessary files here in this thread when I'm done.


Different screen resolutions can have an impact on how this shows up - I'm trying to get it fit on 1920 x 1080 right now and I'm getting to it - It's not rocket science - Sometimes it feels like it though ......

I've been noticed by e-mail of 2 replies to this thread, but they are not showing up.

One was from phred and the other one was from dragontattoo.

I've got it worked out by now and the embedded artwork is not getting deleted after 'Rescan Artwork'.


In my case I had to delete the entry \Covers\ as specified subfoalder to scan for artwork, it was enough to just have the option 'include subfolders' ticked (see screenshot below).





BTW, I was referring to the artwork size for my custom .xml files 'TheaterMode.Embeded' showing in 'NOW PLAYING' and for my custom 'TheaterMode.List'

Now I only have to do some more editing on my .xml files for lyrics, biography and playlist and everything should be fine.

I'll post some screenshots when I'm done.

Hi.

I'm having some trouble displaying artwork the way I want.

I used to display embedded artwork only which means all my music files got embedded artwork with the same dimensions.

Now after getting a new laptop with a different screen resolution all the embedded artwork is too small.

The storage location for my music files has a subfolder for every album called Covers wich contains an artwork image 1000x1000 called Front.jpg and that's what I want to be used now, but MusicBee is overriding this and diplays the embedded artwork only.

This is how I configured Tags (1):



Can someone please give me a hand here to accomplish what I want ?

....... right, had the same problem with the toolbar icons.

I guess it's about the Windows 10 folder permissions in %ProgramFiles%\WindowsApps, nothing to do with MusicBee .......

I've got the codec issue solved, apparently I was missing something as I tried your suggestion before.

For the Toolbar Icons it won't work because if I try to enter a path by clicking on the 3 dots right to the form field I get the popup message like shown in this Screenshot.

Also tried to enter the path manually by typing it in or copy and paste, but it won't work.

Is it possible to include the Toolbar Icons in a custom skin.xml ? - I posted this question in the developers forum section already but didn't get a reply.

....... I'm not sure if this is a bug or me doing something wrong.

Anyway, I installed MusicBee Windows 10 App to give it a try and ran into the following issues:

1st Issue:

Unable to create Toolbar Icons, because the Icons folder needs to be placed in the MusicBee installation folder which is impossible because of folder permissions in the %ProgramFiles%\WindowsApps folder.

Even tried with changing permissions to my admin account which allows me to see the folder contents of the win32 folder which is as far as understand the MusicBee Windows 10 installation folder inside ProgramFiles%\WindowsApps, but I'm not not allowed to create a new folder in there.

2nd Issue:

Same as  the 1st issue above while trying to paste the neroAacEnc.exe into the Codec folder.

All my other saved settings and preferences I could manage in the ...\AppData\Local\Packages\50072StevenMayall.MusicBee_kcr266et74avj folder except the Toolbar Icons and the Codec.

If it's not a bug, please let me know what I'm doing wrong .......
