I have run all 6,000 tracks (twice) and get a lot of errors.  I'll do it again so I can send you the error message I get on many of the tracks.  I should have saved the error message!!  Sorry..........

They all played normally in an old version of MusicBee - and they play normally in iTunes.  Any other suggestions?  I installed this new version on top of the old version.  I can't afford to lose all my playlists - but, what might happen if I unistall MusicBee completely (using Revo Uninstaller Pro) - then install just the new version?  Would I lose my playlists?  I really need to do whatever I have to do to keep using MusicBee - I like it very much!!  Whatever it takes!!  I keep image backups so, if something goes wrong, I can always revert to an image taken just before I do whatever you want me to try.

I realize I have an old version (downloaded from the MusicBee site). However, I had problems with that version - so I went back to my old version.  The problems I had were:

1.  Many times, a tune would start and play a few bars - then go back to the beginning of the tune and start all over again.

2.  Often, a tune would not complete - then move on to the next tune.  When it didn't complete, it was close to the end of the tune.

If I install the newest version again, will you help me if I have problems again?  I really like MusicBee and want to get it running properly (and have all my tunes properly tagged).  

Also, I would like to know if my Playlists will stay intact if I overwrite my old version of MusicBee.  This is very important to me.

I selected every file in a playlist and right clicked. There is no tagging option there.  I am using version 2.5.5804.  The latest version gives me problems as I have described in an earlier post.  Which version do you suggest I use?  Then, I'll try your suggestion again.  Thanks...........

I have more than 6,000 tunes - many of them in playlists - but not all.  I would like to run all 6,000 tunes through a tagging function to correct any mistakes I have in Title &  Artist (not Genre) and Play Time.  Can you help?

Questions / Problems with the latest download of MusicBee

Just yesterday, I installed what I think was the latest version of MusicBee.  On may tunes, the song would play a couple of bars - then repeat itself from the beginning.  This second time, the song continued.  However, on many tunes. the song would cut short and proceed to the next tune.  Any comments or solutions?  BTW, what is the latest version?  Thanks in advance.

Wondering how to fix the metadata.  I think I had most of the data correct - but I ran Musicbee to try and repair the incorret ones.  Now I have more incorrect data than before.  Thanks in advance.

I have a playlist of over 600 tunes that I would like to record on CDs without any duplications - randomized.  Can this be done - and, if so, what is the best and fastest way to do it?  Thanks in advance...........

The instructions hint that by setting MusicBee preferences, it will automatically fix the tag info.  I can't seem to find those settings.

I would like to reset the number of plays on all my files to 1 (one).  Please explain how to do this without doing it one by one.  Thank you.
