Thanks for the answer, but I'm afraid it doesn't answer the question, because you are displaying how to use Customs Tags.
The user we are talking about doesn't want to use Customs Tags for Customs Tags, because he wants that what he is doing in one program could be seen in all other programs. Therefore, he will prefer to use "commonly used tags" for Custom Tags. And now comes back the question above. ?

So I understand that there are Standard Tags (High Compatibility with Explorer and other programs) and there are Non-Standard Tags.

A user that looks for High Compatibility, would probably want to make a use of existing Standard Tags (can be used in other programs) for Custom Tags.

Do you have a recommendation: Which standard tags are the best for using as Custom Tags?
How many Standard Tags we can use as Custom Tags, or How many Custom Tags we can get (without missing something important)?

"private tagging" refers to Custom Tags. Adding custom tags to a file.

Currently I have more 2 problems:
1. The problem of compatibility. How can I make Custom Tags be searched or used also in other (external) programs. For example, WIndows Explorer or other Players. How to make the file and Custom Tags without the dependent of MusicBee.
2. I wonder, why "Rating" (Stars) is the only tag can be so easy added/removed to a file while Playing. I want also my "Custom Tags" to be added/removed by a click.

I suggested once to make a special Panel/Tab of "Tagging while Playing", make it easy to add/remove tags (by one/two clicks), and also comparing the tags of the  NowPlaying file in local computer to what there is in online database.

Anyway, thank for the info.

I don't agree with 1, because:

1. I didn't find an option to convert a regular Playlist to Auto-Playlist (Auto-Playlist updates the list automtically). What's the problem to add both "Add to Playlist" and ""Add to Auto-Playlist" to context menu.

It will be more easier for advanced users to remove it, than for beginners to create it.

I think I found a solution to make "MusicBee panels Configuration" more intuitive. You can find my suggestion here:

As a fan of Freewares, I wish also MusicBee will become as a World-Wide/Multilingual/International software.
There are such freewares of 1 developers already done it.

I think I found a solution to improve the current situaution.

1. Give numbers to all Items/Panels in "MusicBee panels Configuration". Replace the Checkboxes with Numbers.
2. When Clicking on "MusicBee panels Configuration" button, It will make a temp copy of the current settings. This copy will be used for now for "MusicBee panels Configuration", to let it make LIVE Preview of what is been changed in Player, while Drag and Drop. If eventually user clicks "Cancel" (or the software crashes for some reason), settings return to the original settings.
3. Normally, the Numbers will not appear in the Player. Only after you press the "MusicBee panels Configuration" button, it will display the Numbers, both in the Player and in the "MusicBee panels Configuration" window.
4. After each "Drag and Drop" of item in "MusicBee panels Configuration" window, the user will be able to see what is happennig LIVE in background, in the Player. [Like pressing "apply" after each Drag and Drop].
5. "Save" will replace the old settings with the temp settings copy.

Thank you for your reply.
You must underatsnd that English is not my First Language, so things might be sounds other than I meant to. Maybe it makes it more difficult to understand what I wrote. Nothing here is personal.

As for your claim:

That's exactly my claim about Intuitive. You reinforces my point. (BTW, I tried your suggestion, but still I found it's difficult to me to get anwswers to my questions. Look here for example: http://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=17735.msg106088#msg106088)

I do respect. As I said, nothing here is personal. I posted a lot to improve things, otherwise i didn't do so. I tried to give you as much as possible the experience of a Newbie. I think you need keep going in this way, to know how newbies experience with the program, to know how to make things more simple (learn what you could do to avoid the user problem) and to help the user to get more easier what he looked for, so that newbies won't need your help - Intuitive.

Intuitive - People can guess how things work and how to do without need for reading documentation.

MusicBee looks like a Powerful Tool, but currently it isn't so easy to use. It is not so easy to realize the potential of it.

1. I think it should choose Other approch. It's not clear enough. Maybe a big image on top explainig the structure of MusicBee. With Drag and Drop on this image. I think the Elements list on the right side should be fixeble and full. You can't use CheckBoexes and Drag and Drop. Maybe Microsft Word Customize can be the new approch. I would prefer customizing on the Player itself. Each Panel will have its handle. Like 3 dots of Toolbar. Where you can Drag it and make it floating Window (WIth X close button to remove). Then, You can Drag it and accoring to the Cursor/Drag location, you can see hilighting areas where you can place it. Windows Sanp...

Anyway,
2. Currently, when you drag an element there is a Red line/s. Red in genaral says "Not allowed", You should replace it by Green.
3. There is no ToolTips or Titles in the Player naming the Panels. "Playing Track" RCMenu looks better.
4. Consider to make Panels in Menu. where we can choose new Panels. (The list of the all Panels with Vs for Actives Panel). "MusicBee panels Configuration..." at bottom. You can make it as new Menu, or to put "Panels > " under View.
5. When "Now Playing" Tab. "MusicBee panels Configuration..." shouldn't open the customization of the Panel. It should open "MusicBee panels Configuration".Customization of the Panel should be in RCmenu of Panel/Tab.
6. Consider "New Tab" making a blank Panels, wich you can organize from start how will look the Panels of the Player.

1. After posting a post, you want to view the post, but it brings you back to the forum.
2. When I got an Email about a reply on Forum, I don't get a link to the topic/reply, in each Email.
3. Search: After searching, the search input is being deleted. Also, the search doesn't support "" for searching extacly terms.
