v3.0.5937
This is all about Now Playing. I've selected 3-4 tracks and placed them in Now Playing by using the "Queue Next" context menu item. The "current" song is playing and while playing I turn on "Auto DJ".

The entire contents of Now Playing is cleared and it is populated with "Auto DJ" tracks (which I can understand). The queued songs are gone. And the "current song" that is still playing is no longer in the list. However the song at the top of the list is identified (with the graphic) as the current playing track. Are the queued tracks intended to be cleared? Shouldn't the current playing track remain in the list when turning on Auto DJ?

btw, queued songs no longer get a queue number. Don't recall that changing so just mentioning it.

I haven't looked at this thread before today. I pointed the browser to http://test.getmusicbee.com and...

What are you waiting for??? Just kidding. But not really. If this is functional enough (not that I tried) to implement, go for it.

This looks AWESOME AWESOME!!  Great Great work!! v3 and a terrific website update. I hope the new website is what people will see when v3 is officially released!!

@ankor, MB will use the artwork storage preferences when associating new artwork with a music file. To override individual tracks, go to the Artwork tab in the Tag Editor/ click the "Save To" button on the picture and set the picture location(s)
ah great. I was focusing on the Tags tab. thanks

not bug, more about UI...v3.0.5928

recently I updated artwork using "copy to the same folder as the music file and name as". but some tracks didn't get the desired artwork (operas, musicals) so I thought I'd just manually set the artwork. in my mind, I wanted to save the images in the music file (something I did not want to do for the rest of the tracks) but didn't think to change the setting in Preferences | Tags(1). I'd find the image and then Edit the artwork tag and used Paste and then save to leave Edit.

Then I notice the images were not stored in the music file. And I understand why. The reason for the post is to pose the question whether I needed to make the switch in Preferences or whether an option could be presented (or the context menu options could be expanded to offer "embed picture in the music file" and any other options) when wanting to "Paste" the new image. Thoughts?

Edit: I switched the setting in Preferences to embed the artwork. As I go through the tracks and paste the new image, I get presented with the dialog for choosing artwork storage location. I change the setting from "link" to "embed", hit Ok and then click Save. Sometimes the save works and sometimes the process has to be repeated because the image was not saved to the track. I haven't been able to determine the reason for the variation. But when I repeat the pasting of the image, I don't get the dialog again, I simply paste and save and then it works fine.

definitely ticked...but I tested a little more and realized making a change for "inactive tab" gets refreshed immediately with Apply/Save. But that is not the case when making a change for "active tab" and that's what I happened to be tweaking.
those are fixed for the next update
and fixed thanks

Pref | Layout(1) | header bar | custom font
Change font from Segoe UI, Bold, 9pt to Bold Italic and Save but the change isn't implemented. Exit MB and relaunch and the change implementation is visible. I tried underscore, same thing.  It seems like the tabs need immediate refreshing so changes are visible. Same behavior regardless of tabs in or below caption bar.
working fine here. Just make sure the "custom font" box is ticked

using skin Dark Variations | Greenish Stategrey
when tabs bar is below caption bar, the tab bg & fg colors match what is in the xml for the skin. but when tabs bar is in the caption bar, it's a different set of bg & fg colors and not sure where they come from. is it something about the caption bar or ????

thanks

v3.0.5920 assuming this is different from...
- note that for the new centered tabs, they wont activate when docked in the caption bar unless the skin supports that. Currently only the default musicbee skin supports that

Speaking of the cleaner look, what about the option to make the browser arrows at the top invisible. I never use them and wondering if others would like the cleaner look.

And I agree, a flat look for the tabs blending into the background would be another great step toward a cleaner look.

There's no problem! The only problem is my poor english
If you think you're English is poor, then I wish I could speak about 3-4 other languages as "poorly".  French, Italian, German, Spanish...It would be a dream come true.  Envious!!!!

Yes, I guess we are so spoiled, we sometimes expect the impossible ;-)
When personal computers started, nothing was expected and any accomplishment was a monumentus acheivement.  Now everything is expected and it should take no more than 5 minutes.  The world has evolved...a fascinating journey.  And we've barely scratched the surface.  @Steven...can you relate?

edit:
actually i suspect you have only posted part of the error and its the same as someone elses. Its probably fixed for the next update
I also thought the error message was too short but I checked before posting it and that was the whole message.  In any event, I've checked using the latest version and I'm not able to reproduce the error (which was easy for me to reproduce before).  thanks
