Hi!

Now that I have gotten my favorite VST plugins working with MusicBee, it is now my primary music player.  I had one feature request which you can find on some other players.

TL;DR
It would be really nice if there were an option to "insert <x> seconds of silence during sample rate change" under Player options right below "play some silence at startup for hardware synchronization" so that my DAC synchronizes better.  Perhaps you could select x seconds such as: 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 (seconds).

Some DACs (like the new one I got) don't handle sample rate changes very well when switching from one album to another where the new album has a different sample rate.  To fix this, I can stop and restart playback, but the requested option would always work and be so much more elegant.  You could also have the related option "mute during sample rate change" which may help the DAC from making any weird and loud noises during the change.  This option works really well with Audirvana so I was hoping MusicBee (Steven) may consider adding this option.

Thank you so much!

Plugins / Re: MusicBee Remote (Remote Control for Android)

I forgot to mention something in my previous post requesting the addition of album names to the play queue list.  It would also be very nice if I could see the track properties of the currently playing track on the home page, where the player controls are.  This one may be a bit harder to implement since it may require repositioning of current info to accommodate a new line of info.  What I mean by track properties, look at MusicBee main app, you can see info like "FLAC 44.1 kHz, 900k, Stereo, <length of track>".  It would be great to see filetype (FLAC/MPC/AAC/etc), bit-depth (if applicable), sample-rate, and bitrate of file.  For example, a high-res FLAC could read something like: "FLAC 24bit 96kHz 900kbps Stereo" or a lossy file could read something like "MP3 44.1kHz 235kbps Stereo".  Thanks once again @kelsos for keeping the remote alive.

Plugins / Re: MusicBee Remote (Remote Control for Android)

Since I need a remote and I just found MusicBee a few days ago, I am very grateful for the remote plugin and Android app.  I saw on Google Play that development of the remote is on hiatus, but I wanted to say thank you!!! Everything works well enough for me, though I do have have one small question/request if I may.

Is there a way to show either: track #'s, album names, or album art icons on the "Now playing" screen?  Any one of those three would work great.  It would be really nice if I could tell by looking at the queue how much of an album is left to play, since I listen to whole albums at a time, and I am not intimately familiar with song names on most of my music library.  For example right now it shows:

Title
Artist

Perhaps make it:

Title
Artist - Album

That easy change would do it for me!  Thank you once again for investing the time in the plugin and remote app!

Just started using MusicBee a few days ago, coming from JRiver.  Great software and thank you for providing it!
