I got it working now. I had to add a 'Music' folder to the SD card.  Angry at myself for not noticing sooner but happy I got it working  :)

I'm trying to set up my phone for syncing (Android 6.0.1) but with no success.

This is what I have done.

1) connected my phone to computer with cable.
2) unlocked phone, ensured file transfer is selected.
3) opened Musicbee
4) went to device settings,  selected my phone and clicked configure.
5) selected folder to sync (with m3u playlists) and where to sync music (sd card)
(I also tried the playlist folder that MB created)
6) saved settings and went to navigation bar and selected my phone, where I clicked on preview. On clicking preview, the files said "copied" which is expected.
7) clicked on synchronise and got the following:

the storage folder no longer exists

Any help is appreciated

Questions / Re: Subtitle tag not saved to file for m4a files

Thanks for answering

Since m4a is a proprietary format for Apple

That explains it.

When you say it's not saved to the file, what are you basing that on?

I went to the file in explorer, right clicked, selected properties and viewed the details tab.

Questions / Subtitle tag not saved to file for m4a files
« on: April 22, 2020, 10:01:21 AM »
Hello

First time poster, long term user

I recently updated my computer and hence got the latest iTunes and Musicbee.  Because of this, I had to change all my information from grouping to subtitle tag. In order to show and alter the subtitle tag, I used a custom tag and told MB to save it to the file.  This is done correctly for mp3, since it shown in the properties of the file and when I update the tags in iTunes.  However, with m4a files, this tag isn't saved to the file from MB.  Is there anything that I missed or doing wrong?
