I think what happened is that I was trying to update MusicBee, and probably I had originally installed it in a custom folder, and when I updated, it didn't catch that custom path, and I inadvertently allowed it to install in the Default location, so now I have both Version 3.1.6531 as well as version 3.1.5512 installed (with separate skins, etc), and and they conflict, and the program constantly crashes.

So the question  is: what's the best way to clean this up? Totally uninstall both versions, and then do a fresh install of the latest? In which case, how do I not lose data, playlists, etc. in the process.

I was about to do just that, but paused at the precipice and thought better of asking advice first. Any recommendations, y'all?

Bug Reports / Error on remap library folders
« on: November 14, 2017, 06:35:45 AM »
The assigned drive letter of one of my external drives (the one with my music library) changed. Other than that, paths remain  the same to folders and files. It appears in my play window etc once I've browsed there,  but should I try "Scan Folders for new Files" or  "Locatre Missing Files" (I think), the thing scans forever (large library)

Is this the wrong approach to fix? That is, trying "File/Library?Remap Music Folders"?

Here's  the Unexpected Error C&P:
