Thanks! I was able to get most songs to sync before I saw your response. I had to modify a path in the settings/preferences. It's taking me awhile to figure out but I'm getting there. I will do the update as well - appreciate it.  I had a few songs that did not copy - posted in another thread about it.

I am getting this same error when trying to sync songs to my Sansa Fuze. A block of songs did not sync. I got the error Object reference not set to an instance of an object. These songs all play just fine in MusicBee on my computer, but they could not be copied to my Fuze. Interestingly, they were all in a block grouped together alphabetically (artists Daughtry, Dave Matthews, David Bowie, David Cook, Dazz Band, Dead or Alive, and Depeche Mode).

I cannot synch to the external memory card in my Sansa Fuze 8GB. I get the following error message;
