Questions / Shuffle no longer working?
« on: January 21, 2020, 06:23:31 PM »
This is behavior that I could have sworn was working at one point, but as of right now, I can only seem to get shuffle to work if I select "Play All Tracks Shuffled" which plays the entire library, which I do not want. I just want to select an album (I don't use playlists) and have it play in shuffled order.

The little indicator in the player at lower right is showing the crossed icon indicating that shuffle is on, but any attempt to play an album starts with track 1 and hitting next track goes to the next sequential track, not a shuffled track.

There's no shuffle going on at all.

Yes, I'm running the most current version.

What gives?

Bug Reports / Locking up on right-click?
« on: November 03, 2017, 04:22:27 PM »
This just started within the last several days, so I don't know whether some Micrsoft patch/update borked things with Music Bee.

Right-clicking anywhere in the Music Bee application locks it up hard. Process is still running, but no CPU activity. The only thing I can do is kill the process and restart.

I've uninstalled and upgraded to the most current version (3.1.6512) to no avail.

OS is Windows 10 Enterprise, 64-bit.

Questions / How to purge/rebuild database?
« on: January 20, 2017, 01:30:14 PM »
I do not use monitored folders. Rather, I manually add folders to be scanned. I'm finding that if a physical location of a folder or the name of the folder changes, when I add the new folder, the old one isn't purged, so I end up with phantom duplicates within MusicBee.

Rather than having to manually remove tracks from within MusicBee, how do I purge/rebuild the database?

This seems to be a relatively new problem. In older versions, when I would choose new folders, I could swear that there was an option to purge locations that no longer exist.

Thanks.

Deleted all plugin files. Did a fresh download. No change. Still same error.

Correct. Yours is the only plugin I have installed myself. The other ones that are listed are part of the Music Bee install. The list of plugins on that screen are as follows:

last.fm (disabled)
cd art display (disabled)
xbox music
additional tagging tools
theater mode

I went ahead and disabled "xbox music" and "theater mode" and exited and restarted Music Bee, just in case there was some conflict, but that did not fix the error.

Thanks.

Just did an update to the most current version of MusicBee and this plugin, but still cannot configure the plugin. Edit Preferences > Plugins > Configure results in the following:
