Bug Reports / Re: Searching in playing tracks/queue
« on: August 16, 2017, 12:04:55 PM »
Thanks for the fix Steven. Really appreciate it.

@phred: Sorry for not pointing out using the latest released version under the "MusicBee 3.1" thread.
Will remember to post the actual build next time I find something :)

Already was on the most recent build you released.
But just to be sure I downloaded it again and it's still not working as (I would guess) intended.

Just to clarify the element a bit more:
"Right Sidebar", "Playing Tracks" is selected.
The initially hidden search TextBox.

Sorry if my description was not specific enough in the first post.

Bug Reports / Searching in playing tracks/queue
« on: August 14, 2017, 07:17:10 AM »
Hello everyone,

nothing major here. Just wanted to let you know that while typing in the "Playing Tracks" section the letter you already typed in is automatically removed if another one is added. Basically makes searching impossible on larger playing tracks lists/queues.
This happens ONLY there. Searching in Playlists or the Library via the top right box is as fine as can be.
I know it worked before and I am sure this has nothing to do with my configuration

one happy MusicBee user :)

Hey Steven,

just wanted to let you know about a bug that happens from time to time after a song finishes and the next one should start playing.
The size of the playlist does not seem to have any influence in when the error occurs (tried one ~800 songs and with ~70 songs).

So I was listening to some tunes and suddenly MusicBee stopped playing.
Wondering what happened, I tried skipping a track, starting/stopping playback, starting another playlist, and a bit more of this and that.
In the end I had to restart MusicBee, to get things working again...

Noted, that I had to use the Task Manager to kill the process of MusicBee before I could start it up again.
It does not exit the process on it's own if the close button of the window or closed via the menu in the upper left corner.

Sadly enough, there is not even an error log that I could give you to look at.
Whatever it is, it seems to crash before anything can be written to it.

I already tried it with a clean settings file without changing something: still happens

Hopefully this is in any way helpful in finding out the culprit :)

MusicBee Wishlist / Now Playing assistant clears list on double click
« on: August 08, 2016, 09:44:29 AM »
This is not REALLY a bug, just a bit annoying for starting a specific track while filtering the now playing assistant(Alt+J)
If you use the search function in the now playing assistant while in the "Now Playing" tab and double click a song after the list has been filtered,
all tracks that are not displayed are removed from the list and now playing list. Currently you have to queue it up and move to the next track.
Would be nice if this is fixed while you stumble upon it in the code :)

Thx and keep going mate!

Tried my best with the RC1 of MB3.
Don't know if anyone already worked on this or nor but anyway:

The handling of pictures even differs between embedded and normal.
While in embedded the actual picture is irrelevant for the frame the picture is displayed in.
In normal it will squeeze a 16:9 Image to the bottom of the square and resize the whole container :/
Got some pictures for a better understanding using my own Theater Mode skin

1. Doesn't look too bad, if the whole window is sized correctly (this is embedded)

2. But when I reduce the width... (this is embedded too)
the picture element is widthDocked to X:Panel.60 while the lyrcs part is xAnchored to Panel.62
Seems like the image is just not recognized as 16:9 aspect ratio :/

3. Now it gets really strange. Exact same code in the native Theater Mode.
Here you can see the image is sqeezed into the bottom of the picture frame and stays inside.
No overlapping like in opicture 2

These are all of the whole panel and as you can see some strange thing happen.
I remember a version, where this did not happen. But I think it was a fixed exe from Steven, if I am correct.

hope this can get resolved
