Questions / Play button on cover art.
« on: December 06, 2019, 02:12:37 AM »
Hi there.

Since several weeks I had a PLAY button on each cover in the main panel.
I liked that new (?) feature. Now, since a few days, this PLAY button is gone again.
Can I switch it back on somewhere?

Hi guys.

Windows 10, Musicbee 3.1.6xx, Logitech Keyboard K800

Problem: Media Keys Play/Pause, Rev, Fwd won't work when Musicbee is not the window in focus or minimized.

While I was laborating on this sickness for over a year now I might have found a workaround: Disable Logitech's App "Mouse and Keyboard Settings" from Startup (Autostart) in Windows Task Manager.

I haven't found any downsites yet this disabling could bring. SO maybe it is THE solution. However, I would feel better if I would not have to disable one functionality to make another work.

If anyone would have a better solution - please tell me.

Questions / After Remapping many album covers are gone
« on: February 15, 2018, 05:47:21 PM »
Hi.
recently I had a HDD crash and after I replaced it I restored my Music files from an external HDD.

As I have a different drive letter now I had to remap my music in MusicBee.
This worked and it seems all my music is back and ready to be played.

However, I would say half of my covers are not shown in the Albums section anymore although the files (cover.jpg or folder.jpg) are still physically present in the folders on my HDD.

When I play a track from an album the cover is not shown it shows the artwork in Track Information.

When I edit an album I see the cover in the Artwork tab but a message comes up sayint "A picture is corrupted, no longer exists or is inaccessible." Then I check the checkbox artwork in the Artwork tab and press the Save button and the cover will return into the Albums collection.

But this is to be done for some hundreds of covers - oh boy!

There must be a way to refresh all the covers automatically!?

Tools -> Album Art Manager won't show anything - just an empty list.
Tools -> Artwork -> Downloader won't bring missing covers to the albums too.

Please give me a good hint - thank you

Chris

Similar problem here. Windows 10, Musicbee 2.5 - scanning from a NAS over a wired LAN connection. Mapped a drive for the network location of my music library

I have about 40,000 files in this library.
1st scan - everything seemed right and I let it run overnight. Next morning I found about 2,500 files scanned and added to the musicbee library. Some albums had lost album art. But here are the other 37.500 files (some of them are artwork)

2nd scan - on the bottom status it says: "Scanning ... 21,112 of 21,114" for 30 Minutes now.

I think I give it some more tries - maybe finally it will find all may albums.

But it is obvious that MusicBee has a problem with larger music collections from NAS.
