Ok, I get it. But is it possible to implement it? Or update last played date directly from iPod or iTunes. It is basically impossible to maintain proper auto-playlist based on last played date, when using iPod for playing music as well.....

As you know the last.fm sync does not work perfectly due to last'fm's quite miserable correcting system. Thanks to it, some of my songs aren't updating the 'last played date' and 'play count', in conclusion it messes up my autoplaylists.
Can we hope to have a possibility to manually mark songs as played (update last played date and playcount) ?

Questions / Number of tracks of each artist on certain playlist

Hi,

I want to get info how many tracks of each artist are on certain playlist and sort it by this number. I tried do this using artwork view and grouped by artist, but I can't have it to display number of tracks for this artist and on this playist... Is there a way to get the information?

I wanted to ask if MB scrobbler is recognizing the Musicbrainz-ID for songs and artist? Acc. to Last.fm's stuff:

The Last.fm software recognises Musicbrainz-ID's, and scrobbles based on those, if available.

If not - is it going to be implemented?

Questions / Mini player doesn't stay on top

Hello,

It is like in the topic. The setting to stay on top is checked. I think it happened after the update to 2.4.5233. Un-checking and checking again fix it temporary, but when I, for ex., turn on the repeat mode, it is not staying on top again.

Questions / Auto tagger - artists with many names. MusicBrainz tagging problem.

Some artists use more than one name. Usually it depends on the location. For example:
https://musicbrainz.org/artist/a0ecfe6b-1035-4d0a-b8c8-c75872139151/aliases
in latin based languges would be: Ling tosite sigure. And it is an officially used name by the band.

I would like to choose from aliases offered on MusicBrainz when tagging, is it possible to add this functionality?


And one more thing. When tagging the following specific artist:
http://musicbrainz.org/artist/e7a8e086-16df-44a7-91e4-640986bcff72

It tags artist fiels as "GacktGACKT", but it should be GACKT. But I can't find any fault in the MusicBrainz page.
