Questions / Release Types seem to be tagged incorrectly

Hello,
I have come across this thread and would like to bring it to the attention of MB... The op has difficulties with the release type tag in Musicbee and turns to Mp3tag for a solution.

Questions / Is anyone using the tag LYRICIST?

Hi,
MB provides a way to include the writer of the lyrics with abovementioned tag. You may find it atop the 'lyrics'-box.
However I wonder how much sense it makes to include this:
Fact is that most songs are written and composed in a single process. There is no point in differentiate McCartney and Lennon into 'lyricist' and 'writer' etc.
There seems to be a very limited number of performers that will write lyrics or music only, such as Leonard Cohen or Morrissey. I cannot think of anybody else.
So, does anybody here actually use this tag-field at all?

Questions / Connect to remote hard drive by simply replacing paths?

Hello,
I have moved my files to a hard drive attached to a picore player. This player can make music files available over the network.
Before, I had my files on a NAS and I had remapped one of its drives as X: to my windows machine.
So MB's library pointed to X\music where all files were stored.
Now all files are accessible under \\piCoreLMS\LMSfiles\Music.
Can I just replace the path under MB? (And how would I do this?) Or do I have to look after more?

Questions / Update file path in playlists?

I have moved my music collection and relinked all files with the respective command. It's working.
However the playlists (.mbp) do not seem to have updated.
I had moved all files from X:\ to X:\music\.
I also sent all files to file rescan.
The Musicbee-playlists do have the following syntax (taken from Notepad++)

Questions / How to connect remote HD drive

Hello
I have set up MusicBee to read and write files to/from my NAS.
However I will be moving my music files to a drive that is connected to a PiCorePlayer which prefers the Ext4 file format.
Can simply use the 'remap file paths'-command in MusicBee to make MusicBee work again or will I experience difficulties (e.g. the file system of the HD)?

Bug Reports / Playlist order flipped

When I drag multiple files from the main window into the playlist pane, MB (3.4.8223) reverses the order of these files.
In this way, albums I add are playing form last song to first.
I am aware of this bug but this seems to be slightly different.  
This behaviour occurs in "Tracks", "Album and Tracks" and "Album Covers" views.

Questions / More than one "Artist"-Tag?

Hi, is it possible to have more than one "Artist"-Tag in the header of a file?
This would be great.
Background is I would like to replace all "guest artist", "remixer", "performer" etc tags I have written with tags that can also be read by Logitech Media Server. It cannot read the latter nor can it read "display artist".

Questions / PLaylist Order reversed

Hi, each time I drag some files onto the right tray playlist window to play them, MB keeps reversing their order. I can sort thisout manually but I it's quite annoying. How can I stop this behaviour? Thanks!

Questions / Timestamp reversible?

Sorry for asking a question again. I have updated a lot of files' tags and have forgotten that the time stamp would be updates (I usually have this unticked but hadn't at this point). Is there a possibility to revert the update of the timestamp?
I am aware that chances are slim and that I might have to use some external tool but I hope that there might be a possiblity.

Questions / Files are added multiple times to library and/or inbox

Hi, i was trying to add mp3-files to the library but some appear multiple times (ie two folders out of twenty).
I have stripped these files of their original tags, let them run through desiccate, renamed them and renamed and moved the folder they are in.
The mp3 of two albums appear ca. 10 times no matter whether I add them to the inbox or whether I just move them to my music folder. I cannot figure out what is wrong with these files.

Questions / Select all artists that are not album artists

Hello,
how can I select songs from all Artists that do not in any form appear as Album Artists? I wish I could turn the respective songs into a playlist or sth. as it sis required by Logitech Media Server to function properly.

Edit: By this I mean both songs that do not have an album artist at all plus those that have album artist=various.

Questions / Switch Custom Tag from Music File to Database

Hello,
Once upon a time I had created a custom tag that was stored in the tag of the music files themselves.
Now I would like to transfer its value for each file to a value existing only in MB's database.
I am aware of this thread.
If I simply change the value under Preferences > Tags (1) > custom tags > 'save to music file as tag' to 'save to musicbee database only' will this change all respective files or just new ones?
If the latter is the case how could I get this to work for older files?

MusicBee Wishlist / List that combines artists and composers

I discovered that artists' names are not being proposed by autocompletion when you fill in the composer tag.
I would greatly welcome a list that features persons as composed of 'artists' and 'composers'. I am thinking of a list  where you can combine 'Jagger, Mick' and 'Mick Jagger' easily which is then carried out in all respective tags. Composers and Artists seem to be two diffeent entities in MB.

Questions / Access denied to local hard drive

Hi,
I usually rip to my local hard drive and then let MB take control over the business to put the files on my NAS via "move files to organised folder".
But for some time this method has been broken. MB claims it is denied access to my local hard drive and therefore cannot move the files. At the same time, however, MB can play these files. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
I have Win 10 and v 3.3.7436 which I just updated but it has been like this before.
When I try to perform this operation as Admin it claims that the indicated path cannot be found.
Could someone please help me out?
