Questions / regex function, but where?

Wasn't there a regex function so I can replace a character or similar? Where was that found? I do sometimes import files that has numbers so it would be great to remove first 3 characters in the beginning and also change ( to [ and similar, its not hard but don't know where the "search and replace" is found?

Questions / "Embed picture in the music file" auto-select?

I have enabled in "Tag (1)" under artwork, "embed picture in the music file", but still when I paste a image file, it does not auto-check the box that I want checked.

Have I missed something or is this a Bug? It might be a user error so I post in question.

If I got files with no meta-data, how should I rename the files to work?

I tried different combination but I only get the track number + artist name in "artist name":

Also is it possible to add the year of the album as well?

But the track does not appear in the tracks it only show up in artist when importing the file.

Questions / Remove part from multiple tracks?

I have a lot of songs that has in the title name the the track number. Is it possible to remove from multiple tracks the first 5 caracters/letters/numers/spaces

for example "04 - What The Powerline" to "What The Powerline". I got about 200 songs that has the track number in the start.

General Discussions / Two Library with two folders?

Is it possible to have two Library's that the first one (lets call it "My Music") only uses the folder on disc d:/Mymusic and the other one (lets call it "Not My Music") only uses the folders on disc e:/Husbandsfolder for example.

I do like when it does organize stuff automaticlly, but I do have problem cause it only merges both folders to one.

Is it possible to get tags on the songs (like from discogs) but from spotify or tidal? Its possible to see songs and artist without being logged in.

Bug Reports / Podcast grayed out when reinstall

I reinstalled my pc, installed MusicBee Version 3.3.7310. I did use the same hdd partition like before, but none of the podcast mp3's that was downloaded before was grayed out, when downloading them again makes them doubble. (Look at "Mysteriet med Travis Walton_1")

I don't know if this is a bug, but all the mp3's are in the right folder.

Is it possible to add only use the link to the webpage off the podcast (podcasts.apple.com/*whatever*) to add it to musicbee podcasts? Some does not have RSS or XML. Or am I missing something?

Questions / Auto-organise media files, but does not work!

I reinstalled windows and before in MusicBee it did organise all my files and put files in the right folder when scanning or adding new. But not now. I did check the "Auto-organise media files", but nothing happens even after restart and rescanning for new files. If I click on the "organisation"-button it shows up all files but I can not check any of them, only accept, but nothing happens. The files is still not organiset. I got one file for example called "remix22.mp3" and I renamed it right and added a cover, but still the file is in the same place in MusicBee's music-folder and added in playlist but not sorted or changed name.

Or have I missed something?

I am trying to add a dll for discogs tagging, but when I was looking for MusicBee in Program-folders I could not find it. Where is it located when installed with Windows Play Store?

MusicBee Wishlist / Request: 432 hz tuning (automatically)

Its getting more and more popular with 432 hz tuning, specially with meditation music. Most are in 440hz. So the question is this, is it possible to do a plugin that can automaticly "auto tune" the songs that are played?

Questions / Metatag automatic update?

I have some old mp3 that I made in iTunes maybe in 2006?. I do now only use musicbee, but when I transfer them to my phone (android) some albums (from the time I had iTunes, about 10 years ago), is found correctly by artist, album and cover in musicbee, but on my phone they end up as an "unknown" artist. (I use Google Play, did try some other music apps but its the same)

I think there is problem with the metadata, I don't know what ID3 version were used, but is it possible to update to the latest one so they will be corrected somehow? There is alots of albums and I don't know how to fix it.
