I want to sync musicbee library with windows media player given that upnp plugin doesn't work (100% cpu usage) and I am able to stream music using windows media player but I prefer musicbee to manage everything.

EG I know there is a global search box but I want to search sometimes limited to certain display field such as artist or genre. I see the options under the global search box to limit it by fields but it seems it would be more intuitive and quicker if a search box appears next to each display field.

My onkyo tx-nr676 can't see my MB server but when I play music from windows media player and turn on sharing, the receiver can see windows media player's (windows 10 pro) music/playlists etc. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I would like the receiver to read from MB and use the MB remote app on my phone to control MB. It worked with my past onkyo which had DLNA and it worked great, but this new receiver does not, it is all about chromecast/streaming apps/blah blah blah.

I have MB Upnp/DLNA profile set to windows media player if that helps.

BTW: I know it might be said a lot, but can't thank the developer enough for the continued support for MB and all the expansion he has done. I have been using MB I think since 2016 now, maybe longer, so thank you. It is cool he has a windows app version which is probably the best windows app I have seen even though I run MB in portable mode.

Can't select individual folders to music bee to monitor/scan on startup, I can only put a check box beside the entire drive letter.

This all occurred because I moved music bee library to a new location using the built in tools and then I tried to moved my music tracks folder to a new location also. Thus when I opened musicbee library it couldn't find where I move the tracks. I tried to use remap but it won't let me select the new folder location.

I was able to use auto-match from "locate missing files" but it didn't find everything. Also none of the files will play from the playlists even though I told it where my playlist files are located. It can see the playlist files but not play the tracks even though I can play the tracks through my library.

I run musicbee in portable mode on my google drive account along with my files so I can sync my library across multiple devices. Google drive added the ability sync any folder on the computer and thus I am using that now instead rather than having to have everything under my google drive folder. I am using portable mode because I need relative paths given that sometimes my library is not the same drive letter across multiple devices but under the same folder etc. ..\Users\Same User Name\Music
