Is it possible to make a playlist in musicbee that has the same songs as Spotify but picking them from my collection?

Questions / Display 'LastFM Loved' tracks as a display collumn?

I was hoping to label my favorite songs as "Loved" and then be able to view them as a library view, but there's no option in the "Displayed Collumns" for Loved tracks?

It works fine for displaying 5 starred tracks but is there a way to make it work for Loved tracks?

MusicBee Wishlist / Popular tracks by owned music rather than online database

Huge MusicBee user here, but I still use Plex to play music sometimes for this one awesome feature: https://imgur.com/a/ThVniiM


Popular tracks are indexed by what's in your library and then compared to Last.FM popular tracks.


I would love it if the Music Explorer in MB also did this.

Questions / Using "albumgrouping" tag from Picard?

I just tagged my music library with MusicBrainz Picard, and one of the tags I was interested in was "albumgrouping" which was provided by a lastfm plugin. I was hoping this could be displayed in MusicBee as it's one of the most accurate genre tags I've found.

Is there anyway to get musicbee to display it?

Questions / Can I save track ratings somehow?

I like to rate all my best tracks with a 5 star rating, but sometimes I have to change album version and rescan it to my library as completely new files. Is there a way for MusicBee to remember the tracks were previously there and just update them at the backend?

I know you can import missing tracks one by one, pointing them to the new files, but is there some other way?

Questions / Is there a way to abbreviate my album names?

Instead of 'Xenoblade Chronicles Original SoundTrack', I just wanted to see 'Xenoblade Chronciles'.

I know I can manually edit the tags, but is there a setting in musicbee to do this for me?

MusicBee Wishlist / Popular Tracks that play from library.

One thing I used to like about Spotify was popular tracks when you click an artist, it really helps with music discovery when you find new artists.

Plex Pass has this feature and it's awesome. It would be nice if MusicBee would get it eventually.

As you can see from the image, every time I click on artist on Plex, I'm given 5 top tracks automatically from every album from that artist. The tracks then play from my owned music library.

Questions / MusicBee does not find cover art automatically ?

Is there a way to setup MusicBee to find cover art automatically? Everytime I get a new album I have to load a track, copy the image from sidebar and then paste it over the tracks. It's becoming tedious, especially since there's cover art in the folders already...

As you can see, there's 4 albums with no image, but in their parent folders contains cover art, and when I play a track it detects it on the sidebar, but still doesn't add it to the main album view...

Questions / MusicBee breaking torrent data

Hi,

something in musicbee is causing my torrent data to be changed. Making the torrent only 98% complete and thus preventing seeding.

I suppose it is a piece of metadata that is making it invalid. Is there a setting I can change to fix this?

a google search says there should be auto removal of dead links option in my settings, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Has this been renamed to something else in current versions?
