Bug Reports / Buffer issue playback

I updated to latest patch (3.1.6637) and have a new issue with playback. It appears that even when I am not doing anything on network the playback stutters (stops for a second and then re-starts). This happens a few times during each track playback.
I did not have this issue with previous version. It's really annoying as I cannot listen to anything without this stutter occurring.
I've modified the buffer in playback to load the complete file, but this did not help anything.
Any ideas on what is causing this?

MusicBee Wishlist / Silent delete of covers

If I am moving an existing album from Inbox to Music Library and if there is already an existing cover in both folders, the one from the Inbox is permanently deleted. I have no problem it being deleted, but it is not even moved to the Recycle Box, it is silently permanently deleted - further on I think all files deleted from MusicBee should be moved to Recycle Box.
I have played with settings, but wasn't able to figure out how to circumvent this. This is an issue as I would like to decide which cover to keep (whichever one is bigger probably).

I have used Send to -> Folder (Move) to move the whole library from PC to NAS as the library has started to grow considerably.
Before doing this I was wise enough to make a backup. During the transfer I got a few errors with nothing in the logfile. I then compared the backup to the Musicbee moved library and since NAS backup was bigger, removed the existing moved library and copied backup to NAS.
I then opened the Musicbee and went to Scan new library folder. This found about 99 new files and then it choked with the following error:

And the library rescan also fails with same message. I am pretty sure I don't have duplicates in the library although I guess it's possible, but program should handle those. Not sure what to do at this point.

Bug Reports / Remove grouping/disc number/total discs does not work for an album

I have an album in the organized library which has disc number 1 of 1 and some grouping. I try to remove the grouping and disc number (as well as total disc count from edit window as below), but on rescan these are back.

Directly editing the tags through Tag Inspector seems to work. No errors in logfile. I also tried going a song-by-song but still the same issue.

When I click on the "Read More", I get the correct info on the band



Not sure where the "Nature Sounds" is coming from...

Questions / Cue file not being read

Have a problem with a cue file not being read. Can't figure out what is wrong. The filename in cue is same as ape file in the same folder.
I've run the CueTools and it seems to convert ok, so I don't know why MusicBee is not able to recognize the files. I've re-checked everything many times.

Splitter is not taking the artist entered into the artist box, but the one saved previously which doesn't make sense. For example, if I enter "A & C" and only artist "A" was there before - once I click on the splitter it will not show "A & C" but just "A".

If I use the top right search box to narrow down the list, I am no longer able to use type-search inside Artists or Album window

If I play the song from Inbox, then move the album to Library and then go to Now Playing tab this causes the Error:

This makes sense - the folder is not there. However, the app stops responding.

Bug Reports / Bluetooth speaker auto shutoff causes MusicBee to become unresponsive

If I start playing and then turn on bluetooth speaker it will correctly redirect the sound to bluetooth speaker. If I then turn off bluetooth speaker it will again correctly redirect to laptop speaker.

However, if the bluetooth speaker auto shuts off and I then start playing something MusicBee will become unresponsive. I am able to close the program, but there is still some process hanging in the background which needs to be killed from Task Manager.

Not sure if this is a problem with MusicBee or Windows (nothing in the windows or musicbee log). If possible it should at least report an error and not hang.

Bug Reports / Taggng: Cannot find album even if artist and title same as in online database

I've found the disc in the online database: discogs. Tried Auto-tag feature from MusicBee - cannot find this disc:

Bug Reports / Monitored Folder - file in use

I have a temporary folder that is being continually monitored for new files. I drop files there from various sources and they all get added to the Inbox. This works pretty well most of the time. However, if the file is being copied while the scan is running, it will not add that file to the library and will put an error message: "File in use".
I thought it would re-scan the folder and add that file on subsequent run. However that is not the case.
I tried re-scan all files but that did not work. Restarting fixed the issue. Would be nice if one does not need to restart.

Questions / Replace some existing files

I have a few bad music files that I would like to replace with better rips. I have library auto-organized. The new files do not have proper tags and so on.
I am wondering what is the best way to do this: can I just overwrite the existing files with new files?
Appreciated.

Bug Reports / Further no refresh in Inbox

Tagged the album and moved to library.
Looks like if it is the last album in the list it does not refresh, a placeholder is kept which produces error if selected

Bug Reports / Non music files not re-organized

Non music files are copied properly to the library from Inbox and if using reorganize placed in correct folders. However, if you change the artist or title, the music files are re-organized but the non-music ones are not copied along.
