Questions / Locate missing files searching ALL of C/J/E/K drives??

Look at this screenshot. It's searching my WHOLE J drive for the missing audio file locations.

I have a question for this forum titled "Questions". Why can't we provide musicbee with a starting root directory from which to scan children folders/files for audio? This would mean I could tell it to search J:\Gets Backup\Projects\ and then it would have found all of the content within 2 minutes. Instead it searches the WHOLE of each drive which could take 20 minutes to a couple of hours since I have about 5tb of content in total across the drives. How is that reasonable?

To top it off, it only found 1/3rd of the content. So I have to manually relocate about 300 songs, even though they are all under a single root parent directory. Incredible! How can it be this bad at searching? It found some of the files under the correct directory. After it did the auto search, I manually matched about 10 that had the EXACT same names, and so do the rest of the missing 2/3rds. So I don't see how it's skipped over them. I've tried redoing the auto search 4 times and it's still not finding them.

Been dealing with this for years. Every time I change the location of a file via windows explorer I have to reimport the song into musicbee because of this problem. I'm directing musicbee to the correct path for a file and it still prints the error "File note found at expected location".

In this image you can see an INCorrect path and then I paste in or direct to the correct path and I pressed "save", but it still errored and then goes back to the wrong path, even though the path I chose was correct (200% sure it's correct as I've tried this so many times over the years and I tried it 3 times for this song before posting)

I have eight mp3's in the directory in the image above - I also notice that there is a lackthereof an option such as  "find all other missing files using path".
I create a lot of music so I have a lot of music in different folders. Perhaps 1000's of directories from all of my music that I've made being in a different project folder. Itunes has an option to scan all children files and folders from a chosen folder and it compares all audio files against a list of missing/wrong paths for names of songs in the library. This meant it was trivial to scan for missing songs in my Projects folder but I haven't found a way to do this with musicbee.

Thanks
