MusicBee Wishlist / Enable Reverse Tempo Along Tempo Continuum
« on: December 12, 2021, 02:41:09 AM »
Using the tempo +/- 10% hot keys could be enabled with a lower end to the existing continuum that fully reversed the playback. At the current floor, -50% tempo, the next hotkey would flip the tempo backwards with playback at "negative 0.5x playback speed". See the illustration below as an example of what I had in mind.

Extending the lower floor down to "negative 1x playback speed" would be a good place to start with the feature if you opt to implement 🤞

As a related or perhaps alternate feature to implement that might cover both use cases ... how about the TEMPO AS A TRACK LEVEL ATTRIBUTE feature?

As a related or perhaps alternate feature to implement that might cover both use cases ... how about the ADJUST TEMPO CONTROL BASED ON GENRE PLAYED feature?

When searching a library such as this:
Add More
Add Less
Additional

... the following would render the appropriate result sets:
🔍 "add" ==> 3 results
🔍 "add -less" ==> 2 results
🔍 "add -additional" ==> 2 results
🔍 "addi" ==> 1 result

*note
a. implementation of "-" as prefix may conflict if searching fields for hypens
b. not sure how "quotes" are handled
c. within the search field, [CTRL] + [BACKSPACE] is not currently deleting full word as is usual across Windows (including null characters)

MusicBee Wishlist / Re: Adjustable Mouse Wheel Scroll Speed
« on: August 13, 2020, 01:54:56 AM »
Any chance this has made it up into the near-term release queue?

Alternatipsy, inverting the behavior (i.e. [ALT]+SCROLL yields the fast behavior while regular SCROLL is slow speed) might be an easy enough solution technically.

Talk of leveraging a plug-in override as a workaround for a native fix seems like an unfortunate path to take for such a foundational UX element as scroll speed. Many ways to trim this tree and perhaps 🤞 we're in for a solution soon?

Plugins / Re: (Updated) Spectrogram Panel Plugin
« on: January 15, 2019, 10:32:55 AM »
@zkhcohen, when you revise this plug-in next, might you also be able to enable the hide/display header menu option of the pane within the layout so that the header title word "Spectrogram" can be omitted tightening up the view of the pane with the pane above it?

Thank you for your plug-in contribution!
