Yep I did that a couple times. Still getting a lot of missing tracks

I would just delete the library and try rescanning from the main music folder I have

Can anyone help me get my music into the library properly pls?
First of all, assuming when you set up the new 2nd hard drive that you reassigned the same partition letters, there was no reason to uninstall MB from the primary drive. But it's too late for that now.

Have you checked the Inbox to make sure they're not there? If they aren't in the Inbox, I suggest you search for 'new music.' File > Scan Folders for New Files > Choose Folders > add to library > mark and send duplicates to the Inbox > Proceed

Thanks Phred -Yes I uninstalled because MB wasn't opening when I would click it, but this was fixed I realise.  We did keep the same partition letters and drive. It was basically a carbon copy of the old drive (which was dying fast)

I did look in the inbox and yes a fair few missing tracks are in there (which say are duplicates) but it's still only maybe half an album that I find in the inbox with a lot of the tracks missing completley ;(

Hallo,

Jammer!Jammer!Jammer!

Translated for us all :)

I also have the same problem and have been working on it for months now!
I have a file with 6000 music tracks. Because all other (tags) programs did not work correctly, I updated almost everything manually!
With the Windows Media Player all works perfectly.
These correct songs are all read in the MusicBee library.
That goes well for one day!
But then all the problems like "can not find the file locations"
Checking everything via the tags does not show errors that are.
When restarting, "the following (10 to 20) file locations can not be found, automatic recovery does not work, then resolves manually.
I have started all over again six times to delete everything in the registry!
Checking the numbers / tags for errors gives even more problems. Then I lost thousands of images that I entered manually. Over half of all automotive solutions do not work or hardly work. Too bad, because it is a great program in terms of presentation. Pity! Too bad!

Hello -I recently replaced my second hard drive which had all my music on it.

I uninstalled music bee from the main drive and reinstalled then added the music again into MB library. But it came up with a tonne of duplicates. So I tools>manage duplicates and hid the extra files

However a lot of tracks for certain albums are missing now. And despite them being in the folders with no duplicates at all. MB just won't let me add them into my library.

Can anyone help me get my music into the library properly pls?

*Quick update -a lot of the 'missing songs' I have found using the computer node tab and adding to 'inbox' then 'adding to library' -still not all of them are showing and I am suspicious it's to do with MB thinking they are duplicates as a few of the examples are "Shoot it out" (which shows) and "Shoot it out (Acoustic)" (which is missing)
