How can I use this to stream music from one PC to another over the internet? I installed this plugin on both installations of music bee. Now what?
Thanks

Questions / Re: Confusion over Search bar.

Oh, and while we're at it, can I make the song progress bar a bit taller, so it's easier to click through songs? It's very thin, and I usually end up triggering my auto-hide task bar to jump up. Sure, I could just make it not hide, but why not cater for different people's setups?

Questions / Confusion over Search bar.
« on: May 22, 2017, 02:52:45 PM »
When I type something in the search bar, and press enter, the playlist doesn't filter down to the search results. I have to actually click something in the main list to get it playing. I preferred VLC's method of filtering the main list, so all I have to do is press next song, or wait, and it will automatically go on to playing filtered songs.

Also, when I clear the search box, the playlist still keeps playing the filtered music, instead of going back to everything. the only way it seems is to click another song in the main list, but that interrupts the current song. Vlc just automatically set the playlist back to unfiltered, so when your song is finished, it'll just go back to everything.

So for example, I'm playing all songs, then decide I want to hear a certain song. So i search it, get it playing, then I want to get the playlist back to everything/unfiltered, so it returns to normal when the song is done - as far as I know, i cant do that - only way to get back to unfiltered is physically interrupting the song. this is annoying, especially if im going to be in a game or something immediately after selecting the song. cause when it's done, i gotta go back and select something else, so it doesnt keep playing the same song/artist etc.

Is there any way to replicate the VLC functionality into this? I dislike the separate playlist and main list. why not just one list like vlc? it's simpler. it should just generate the playback on the fly instead of generating a predefined list.

It may sound like I should just use vlc, but that also has problems such as lacking a year column, and not being able to expand all folders at once in library mode. and it takes at least half an hour to load all my music if I don't use library mode.

So far musicbee has been the best of the players I have tried.
