Yes, I thought the "Involved People List" would work in the same way. Because I'd like to keep musicians and technical personnel separated.

If thats not possible though, then I'll include them in the artist splitter like you.

So today I started reorganizing my tags a bit, because I wasn't quite happy with them. I had previously used custom tags for each "technical role" (e.g. producer, mastering, engineer, etc.), but that system took up to many tags.

Now I wanted to use "Involved People List" as a custom tag, because I thought it would work the same way as the artist splitter, so that you could enter a name and then a role in a second field. That doesn't seem to be the case though. The tag shows up as a normal text tag, like all other custom tags do, so I can only enter "role: name" all in one field, but that makes searching very complicated and also it doesn't look as nice.

I also have read through the existing topics about the involved people list, but didn't really understand if it should work as I expect, or if that isn't the intention and I misunderstood what the tag is supposed to do. I'm using .flac and mainly use MusicBee to edit the tags as well.

I hope my description is understandable and someone might be able to enlighten me on this.

Hi there, just stopping by to ask if there has been or will be any development towards supporting animated GIFs? I just added a few tracks to my library that come with animated GIF covers and it would be amazing if they could be played on Music Bee.
