Questions / Re: Podcasts Not Appearing in Library
« on: May 21, 2019, 09:01:37 PM »
i will change that for the next update but for now you can drag the file to a tab header that has the music library open

https://getmusicbee.com/patches/MusicBee33_Patched.zip
unzip and replace the existing musicbee files

An FYI, after doing this action MB seems to want to download the files again?

Much appreciated, thank you, Steven :)

Just tested that & it works... It removes the file from the downloaded podcast part of the subscription, but then does appear in the library.

If it's not too much to ask/consider, could I respectfully ask: is there anyway you could build some global setting to have e.g. 'show downloaded podcasts in library'?

Thanks, psychoadept - unfortunately though, that option is greyed out :s

They're showing there, but the folder they download to is within a 'library' folder - but they don't show up there?

Is there a setting that can allow podcasts that have been downloaded to show up within the library please?

I've podcast settings configured to download to specific folders which are thus monitored by MB, but for some reason they will not show up in my library?

Thank you :)

Portable Devices / Re: Syncing to Device - Folder Path Query

Redwig, apologies for the delay in responding :s

Just wanted to get back to say - thank you very much for offering your help - I do appreciate it! :)

In terms of reporting back, it works to an extent, but I had a few random issues - probably due to the way some things are in my collection. I think to 'err on the side of caution' it's best I just stick with "preserving file names" :$

Your help and expertise is gratefully received nonetheless, thanks again :)

That looks great - thanks so much for quickly helping!

I've put the code in and checked out the preview, it looks like it will do the trick - haven't yet synced.

How does that code work?

Thanks again :)

Portable Devices / Syncing to Device - Folder Path Query
« on: June 28, 2017, 12:46:07 PM »
My music is located as per follows:

- D:\Music\Albums\Soundstracks\<Album Name>\<Album>
- D:\Music\Albums\Artists\<Artist Name>\<Album>

I prefer to Sync using the following Musicbee media storage path: preserve folders and filenames

On a device I'm sync'ing to, I'm syncing to a memory card inside a folder called "Music".

Is there a way to sync using 'preserving folders and filenames' but to remove the "Albums" folder that is being created on the device to help keep the device tidy - rather than have just one folder inside a music folder before getting to the crux on the content?

For example, this path on my laptop: D:\Music\Albums\Soundtracks\Minions Movie Songs

I want to sync as follows to my device: D:\Music\Soundtracks\Minions Movie Songs

Essentially removing the '\Albums\' part of the directory in how the device syncs?

Thank you :)

MusicBee Wishlist / Re: Show Podcast Chapters

Thanks, Steven.

I had to delete the files and re-download them - luckily they were still available. Not sure what was happening - thanks for helping :)

The forward and rewind buttons also work nicely after you implementing that change - thanks again.

Apologies for the confusion on "expanding the tracks displayed", misinterpreted this as being part of the skipping through the chapters via the player. Imagine that will take a lot of work if can't be done in 3.1?

Have just updated to 3.1.6384 to check this out and unfortunately it's not working. I can't skip through the episode, it keeps returning to the beginning and the app nearly hung (timing out). It's also not showing the bookmarks/chapters.

MusicBee Wishlist / Synchronize Cue Sheets to Device
« on: May 29, 2017, 11:38:57 AM »
Hi,

From a little enquiry here, if a cue sheet is present in your library/directory, would it be possible to offer a 'sync option' to copy the cue sheet across to the device instead of MB splitting the track when synchronizing please?

Thank you :)

Using GoneMad which works well with cue sheets. Steven, could it be possible - before potnetially raising a wishlist request - to sync the cue sheet to the device instead of splitting the file? Thank you.
