Okay, I figured it out after using google to search the forum. Found an old post leading to a Wiki dealing with the same issue.

I am a longtime user, and I'm used to my player looking a certain way. I'm not even sure where the style came from, but I think I borrowed it from Winamp when they shut down. Anyway, I did a clean install of Windows 10 and, like a goof, forgot to port my Musicbee folder settings. How do I get my player looking like this again (minus the skin effects)?

I'm just having a hard time arranging the panels and selecting the right elements and where to place them.

Thanks for your help.

Hello,

I'm already familiar with tagging. I've got a rather large library of songs (4000+) and manually editing the values is out of the question.

I want to add a value to the BPM tag for use in iTunes to indicate the KBPS of the song. The song quality in other words. I have some 24/96 and high bitrate songs in ALAC format I want to be able to add to separate playlists.

I already have the BPM field tagged to denote the Musicbee rating of each song. And I want to add a tag for the KB/s of each song into the BPM field on top of the song ratings.

Now, if there is a hidden KB/s field I've missed in Get Info in iTunes, then please kindly point it out. In which case I'm a complete numpty. Any answers are welcome.

Thanks.

Figured it out. The regular search and replace function accomplished this just fine. Thanks. :/

I've searched and cannot find a solution for this. But how do I create a Preset to search and replace a single word (among many) in the Comment field of an ID3 tag? For example, to replace the word "Fun" with "Happy" but leave the rest of the comments the same?

Questions / How To Show Only Songs With No Album Art?
« on: July 19, 2016, 07:16:10 PM »
I keep running across various files that don't have album art embedded in them. I have hundreds of songs and don't want to audit each one. How do I get MusicBee to search for just the songs that DON'T have album art? Thanks!

Questions / Toggle mouseover scroll on/off?
« on: June 28, 2016, 07:01:50 PM »
I used to be able to mouse over the main panel, for example, and scroll. Now, even if I click within the window, I can't mouseover scroll.

Does anyone know, is there a setting in MusicBee anywhere to change this? I've looked in my Logitech app and there is no option to toggle mouseover scroll.

Thanks,

Questions / Re: Stats for numbers of 5 star songs per album by album
« on: June 26, 2016, 12:40:31 AM »
Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately I  do not want MusicBee to assign album ratings for me. I've already done that.

And the Tagging And Reporting Tools plugin doesn't work for me for some reason. I've opened another thread on that last week with no help.

Any other suggestions about how to get MusicBee to show me a report with, for example, "x" 5-star songs or greater than "y" 4-star songs - that would be great!

Questions / Stats for numbers of 5 star songs per album by album
« on: June 25, 2016, 07:43:56 PM »
I would like to rank my album collection, and I'm starting by searching by the number of 5 star songs in each album. Because I have so many albums cataloged, it's proving error-ridden and time-consuming to do it one-by one.

The question: is there a way to report, for example, how many albums have three 5-star songs, or which albums have greater than 6 4-star songs? Is there a report? Or would I use regular expressions? If the latter, could someone give me an example or point me to a tutorial?

Thanks!

I installed "Additional Tagging and Reporting Tools" with the hopes of exporting my 5-Star albums to external file for cataloging. I created the subfolder ASR Presets. It still doesn't show up in Preferences/Plugins.

I installed the plugin directly into the plugins folder without creating the plugin's own folder as per the instructions. This seemed odd, but I did it. Then I created the ASR sub-folder.

Any ideas as to what I may be doing wrong?

I downloaded "Additional Tagging and Reporting Tools" with the hopes of exporting all my 5-star albums to an html or text file in order to catalog them. However, the plugin doesn't show up in preferences/plugins.

Any suggestions as to what I may be doing wrong?

Thanks.

Questions / Re: "Playing Track" Album Cover displays wrong picture!
« on: May 10, 2016, 08:25:27 PM »
Thanks psychoadept. That was exactly what the problem was. There were extra jpg's in my music directory and the tag settings were pulling them into the album cover. Just a couple quick unchecks and voila!

Thanks all!

Questions / "Playing Track" Album Cover displays wrong picture!
« on: May 07, 2016, 06:28:38 PM »
Hi there!

Underneath where it says "Playing Track" the album cover is always the same. That is, is always displays the same album cover. If I right-click, it shows "Image1" "Image2" and "Image3". The first two are unrelated to the correct album cover. The third option is always the correct one.

I was wondering: is there any way to correct this error?

Questions / Musicbee freezes when I shut it down.
« on: February 06, 2015, 04:12:27 AM »
I've had a problem the past few days. When I try to exit Musicbee, it freezes and will sit there until I terminate it in Task Manager.

What might be causing this? I haven't added any new hardware to my computer recently. And I've been running MB for nearly two years now with very few problems.

Even if I stop the currently playing song before I exit, it's the same problem.

I'd like to avoid a re-install because the last time I did that I lost my auto-playlists.
