Tips and Tricks / Re: Copy display title of on stream radio track

Glad it helped! To make it even easier, add a button to the toolbar...

1. Right click the toolbar (the one that shows Music, Explorer, Radio, Playlists, etc).
2. Select "Configure Toolbar".
3. Add a button text (like "Radio Logger")
4. In the command field, select "Send To: External Application (now playing)"

That should give you a button you can press to save the currently playing track. (It also works when playing stuff in your library, not just the radio).
I set a global hotkey for it, and I have to say—it works great.

To me this doesn't seem to be a "Tip and Trick - User-to-user advice and tips - no questions please!", but a Question?

edit
I noticed the OP has deleted a second post of his right before this one, where he tried to explain what he was hoping to achieve.

Deleting earlier posts after replies have been posted is never a good idea, forum-wise.
Yes, that's right, I felt like it was a trick because I used a rather unconventional method to do this. I'm glad I found the right method thanks to: wiz_d_kidd.

I also used the mb_SongHistory plugin. But the report outputs all tracks and I only wanted to save my favorite ones. wiz_d-kidd introduced a good method.

If you want to save the track information only for selected radio tracks (not the whole history), try my solution here: https://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=17823.msg233030#msg233030

I added a button to the toolbar to invoke it. So when a track you like comes on, one click and you've stored the track info.

Wow, thanks!
This is actually a better solution and so easy to use. I had searched the forum for a similar question before, but couldn't find this.

Tips and Tricks / Copy display title of on stream radio track

found a solution to copy the title of radio streaming track, especially for stations that are added manually. I noticed that the track information currently playing is only avalible in bottom panel of the player controls, so I found a way to copy it.

prefrences> Tags(2)> Send to clipboard tag
set this field to <Artist & Title> and copy it from the player controls panel by right-clicking and sending to> clipboard

If there is a better solution, please advise.
