I'm late to the game, but how do I install this plugin? https://github.com/avh4/picard-recordingdate - when I install it says not compatible with my version of picard, I am using Version 2.12.3

General Discussions / Wouldn't This be Awesome?
« on: January 19, 2025, 11:06:16 AM »
So I'm new to Musicbee, and love everything about it, I'm sure there is more to be discovered, but recently I've been playing around with webhooks, and like others we try and finetune our library to perfection. I am trying to apply the "original release date" for all my tracks, this is going to take me for what seems a lifetime to accomplish! I am obtaining the info that I need by using "https://www.google.com/search?q=$First(<Artist>)+$Split(<Title>,"(",1) original+release+date" - but my question is: Wouldn't be awesome if some genius out there discovered a way to automatically take that information and apply it to your tracks? I'm sure it's possible, but whose got the talent to figure it out?

Questions / Playlist Duplicates
« on: January 17, 2025, 02:50:52 PM »
I am i the process of building my playlists. I am trying to avoid duplicates and I know if I try to put in a song twice a warning will pop up, but is there something in place or a setting that I can choose if I try and put in the same song which may appear on several albums? Like you've already added this song or similar from album xyz, do you want to add it again? At this point I have not discovered that option, so after the fact I am manually going thru my playlists and removing any possible duplicates...

Plugins / Re: Remote Control for iOS (MusicBee Remote companion)
« on: January 10, 2025, 09:29:11 AM »
I'm late to the game, but loving MusicBee and the remote! The only issue I have with the remote is that it won't play my playlists. Everytime I try I get an error: "Unable to play this file - it has an unsupprted format or is corrupted" which is displayed in Musicbee - the playlists will play fine if I select them in Musicbee though. This happens with all playlists even "Recently Added" and "Top 25 Most Played" - The remote will play songs, albums, etc with no issue though... When the error occurs if I look at now playing in the app it shows the artwork, the playlist, but it says "50's.mbp" or whatever playlist "Rock.mpb" my playlists are all ".m3u" does this make a difference?
