After deleting ..AppData\local\musicbee\InternalCache and over-installing musicbee, all is fine. All expected folders are to be seen before I read it in the database.
So its dependent on the internal cache that hasnt updated. Thank you all for your help and patience.

Have you tried renaming this folder and rescanning again? Try something notably different like "Test Beatle" and see if MB picks it up off the next scan.

EDIT: Change it back to "The Beatles" afterward and see if it becomes available again in MB.
It makes no difference, the folder is not be seen and also not imported. Very strange!

This is a very strange problem. I did notice in your screenshot that the "The Beatles" folder in windows explorer is set to a future date "15.06.2024" so perhaps somehow it is corrupted in some way that MB cant read it
Thank you, didn see this. I changed the date to 16.05.2024 including subdirectories and checked the permissions. Deleted the MB library and created a new one with different name. Same as before: the folder "The Beatles" will not be searched or included.
If I add the Beatles subfolder by hand, all is fine, the album artist "The Beatles" is shown and sorted between "The Beach Boys" and "The Bee Gees". Very strange!

No, it does only find songs contained in album samplers. I search the whole library and no filters assigned.
When I add the folder "The Beatles" by hand via files - add files, all albums are added, are to be seen in the library and find all songs.
When i say find new files in my folder, a window comes up and asks, if i would delete the albums and songs not found in my streamer ssd.
Its that strange, that with adding files the folder named "The Beatles" is unseen...

Perhaps your network folder has two sub folder, "Beatles" and "The Beatles". If "The Beatles" is empty or at least has no music files in it, then it won't get listed in MB. Check if your files are all stored in a "Beatles" folder instead.
No, all is under "The Beatles" and the files all are tagged in album-artist and artist as "The Beatles". It looks like the import section of mb dont show or find the folder "The Beatles".

In MB have you looked under "T" for The Beatles?
Do the other groups beginning with "The" appear properly?
All other Artist appear under "The ..." when tagged as "The ..." Definitely on my SSD all files under "The Beatles" are tagged for album-artists and artist as "The Beatles". See screenshot when added into musicbee. Obviously musicbee doesn't scan this folder. my songs are sorted as "Album Artist\Album\Songs".
Is there a limitation of folders? I have 49826 files, 3855 albums and 1321 artists on my SSD.

MusicBee V. 3.6.8849 on Windows 11
I start with a new library by holding shift and start the program. I choose New - folder - networkfolder. My music is stored on \\DMP_SAMBA\Share\FFEF-F1E7\Musik-SSD. As you can see in the screenshots, there is a folder "The Beatles" between "The Beach Boys" and "The Bee Gees". When i unfold the network folder in the setup in musicbee, the folder "The Beatles" is not shown. Is this a bug or is something hidden by default?
