The cue sheet concept will not work for me. I don't solely employ the MusicBee player, I also transfer approx 1,200 tracks to USB flash drives that I have plugged into half a dozen 'dumb' DAB radios [with colour displays that can show artwork thumbnails]  at various locations - these devices can't read cue sheets, gain tags etc. - thus I need to use 'real' edits, but preserve album art etc. The radio/music players are in remote cottages that I rent out so networking isn't feasible nor desirable. 
 
Q1 - so there is no plugin available that can enable simple MP3 edits of a track in my library?
Q2 - there is no link to a forum post that describes a workflow to simplify my tasks?

Hi all - great little player!

I use the portable version

Is there an MP3 editor plugin for simple edits of tracks already in my library ?
e.g. tasks such as:
[1] Split a 25 minute live track into its component songs
[2] Trim the ends of a live track because too much intro chatter etc

Or can you provide a link to a post that discusses an optimal 'workflow' for achieving this with an external editor such as Audacity? It's quite a fag to edit a track,  re-import & give it a thumbnail & tags again.

Latest version of MusicBee in Windows 11
I'm in the MUSIC tab.

Hi There

I have PJ Harvey selected in the left sidebar
In the main panel I see her tracks numbered 1 to 93 downwards
If I want to manually push track # 46 up a couple of slots to # 44 how do I do this?

Left click selecting track # 46 with my mouse pointer & trying to slide the track row up to the new position does nothing. I see a "1" appearing in a box next to the pointer & a tiny red "not allowed" type sign [circle with a diagonal line through it]

I used to be able to do this in MusicBee a few years ago, but I can't today
I used to rearrange tracks by mouse pointer & then renumber that artist to preserve the new ordering
