Plugins / Re: Subsonic Client

Hi phred,

Thanks for any help you may be able to give me.

I am using MB Version 3.4.8102
MB was installed using the installer (no settings or folder locations were changed during this)
The plugin was from the MB plugins pages, extracted and copied over to the plugins folder in the MusicBee folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\MusicBee\Plugins)
Once copied over, I restarted MB, and go to configure the plugin.
As for the error log, please see the attached................

OK.......this is pleasing (for me) and annoying (for wasting your time)

I just tried getting an error log, so had to replicate the issue again, as I had shut MB down...guess what....Pinged successfully (rather than giving me a massive error) and MB is now running Getindexes. I am going to assume I will have no issues from here on in.

Plugins / Windows 11 MusicBee install + Subsonic

Hi,

I am sorry if this is the wrong place to post this question and plea for help...

I have a Subsonic server set up at home which works fine with the android app and I am able to log in using the web interface. I really want to link MusicBee to my Windows 11 machine and use the subsonic plugin but I cant seem to get it to work.  I am certain 100% that my hostname user and password are correct but to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I really don't want to use any other player as MusicBee is the best one by far....so much so I spot Steven a few quid every now and again when I can afford it....it really is that good...

Bug Reports / Error when adding artwork

Hi,
Sorry if this is not the place to post this, but I followed the link on the report to error message.  The error ocurred when adding artwork to an mp3 file.  My laptop says I am only using half of my memory so I am unsure as to what this means.

Questions / Theatre Mode Album Art

Hi,

I am unable to find any answers as yet so apologies if I have missed anything.  I am trying to use theatre mode to display all album art on rotation (as in now playing) but cant get it to show anything other than the cover art.  I have tried to edit the xml (which being a non programmer or even someone with a first clue as to what I am doing) did not go so well to say the least.  Has anyone any ideas how I can do this so all see in theatre mode is the nice image rotation of all album artworks for the album that is playing?

Dam...I must have missed this, thankyou.  I was trying to use the table I found on the forum with all of the names of the components, changing a value, and reloading the skin on to a blank musicbee....twas a little tedious and got annoying when nothing was changing apart from what I did not want to change!.

Questions / Simple change of colour on a skin

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows how to change the scroll bar colour on a skin.  I have tried adding the code in the skin for all of the options that I can work out on the skinning forum pages but my knowledge is lacking.
I have the "Dark Fine Tuned - Orange" skin which is 99% what I want it to look like but I have trouble making out the scroll bar which is in grey.  I would however like the scroll bars moveable part (the background can stay as is...) to be in the same orange as the rest of the theme (255,127,0) I think.
Please see the attachedd screen shot of the scroll bar and the "arrange panel" icon that contains the orange that I would like the scroll bar to be in.


Any help is appreciated

Hi,

Has anyone else found that the click to play button adds the album to the playing tracks in reverse order?  Is this an issue or have I changed a setting without realising it?

Hi,

I am very new to MusicBee and have found it a revelation after using the useless iTunes for far too long.  My Library never crashes now so thank you for developing this.

My problem:-

I listen to streamed radio whilst studying.  Rather than interrupting this each time a new track is played, I would like to write to a file, the tracks played (Artist, track, timestamp so I know when it was played).  I cannot work out how to list the tracks that have been played using the plugin (NowPlayingToExternalFiles).  This seems to overwrite the line added to the text file rather than add a line to the end of the file.

Has anyone else had and overcome this issue?  I hope so!!
