Hello. It sems like logging out a user after 60 minutes is a default forum behavior (at least it was a couple weeks ago). Well, when a forum user is writing a post for more than 60 minutes and then clicks "Submit", they are immediately logged out, and everyting that was written is gone. If it wasn't for my habit to Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C everything before submitting, I would definitely throw the laptop against the wall and never ever visit the forum again. Going through registration hell just to submit a bug report is already a PITA, please don't make the experience even worse.

MusicBee Wishlist / "Toggle Crossfade" hotkey and panel button
« on: October 29, 2017, 03:54:56 PM »
Maybe I'm missing something, but I couldn't find this hotkey in the list. It would also be useful to have a button in the Player Controls bar, together with Repeat and Shuffle buttons. Maybe even with a slider to set the crossfade time, like in Winamp's Equalizer pane, but that would be too much work I guess. So, at least a hotkey would be great enough.

Bug Reports / Re: [3.1.6466] Crashes, errors, huge RAM usage
« on: October 21, 2017, 10:31:20 AM »
I've finally managed to clear list of folders at Preferences -> Library -> monitored folders, before MB has startup-crashed again. RAM usage is now back to normal, no crashes as of yet. I'll try the memory fix from the link and rebuild the library. Thank you.

Bug Reports / [3.1.6466] Crashes, errors, huge RAM usage
« on: October 21, 2017, 09:53:17 AM »
I've been using MusicBee for about a week, and it has recently started crashing about 8-12 seconds right after start on Win 8.1. v3.0.6xxx has been running flawlessly for a while, but at some moment it just started to crash every time. Updating to 3.1.6466 hasn't changed anything. It could also crash even faster if any actions are tried in the interface. It might've been connected to the fact that I have a large file count in the library (32000 files in "inbox") and some of them are on a portable HDD which isn't always connected to the system.
I've tried to clear the library (by renaming c:\Users\<username>\Music\MusicBee\MusicBeeLibrary.mbl), now the "inbox" is empty, and player doesn't immediately crash, but still crashes when trying to navigate the interface, throws errors, and occasionally continues working and playing music after crash. Memory consumption is about 1.7 GB, right after start. Here is a recent error message:

As a side note, it is rather unwise to logout a forum user while she is writing a post for more than 60 minutes, and clear everyting that was written. If it wasn't for my habit to Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C everything before submitting, I would definitely throw the laptop against the wall and never ever use MB again. Forcing the user to go through registration hell just to allow them to submit a bug report is already a bad practice, please don't make it even worse.
