Questions / Tag for date added to a playlist?
« on: June 14, 2020, 07:56:05 PM »
Hi everyone,

I tend to use the auto-playlist for LastFM's "loved" songs. But I'd like to have the ability to have a playlist with songs that was added to the love auto-playlist the last 14 days. The tag I see related to date is either date modified or added, which is based on the date added/modified in the library.

Is there a tag that says date added to the playlist or something similar in the same vein?

Has this feature been removed or has it been moved to someplace else? I used this feature quite a bit before and I updated Musicbee to the latest version and I can't seem to find it.

Thanks.

It also seems like it could be a windows 10 issue as well, I've got another program that exhibits the same behaviour.

I thought I was going insane, I've noticed this problem as well on Windows 10 x64 & MusicBee 3.2.6688.

Huh, that's strange. Although it has been a while since I made those playlists so maybe that explains it?

Anyways, thank you for a quick response and fix Steven. Appreciate it.

Bug Reports / Accessing auto playlists give an error
« on: April 20, 2018, 03:00:26 AM »
MusicBee v3.2.6672.25760 (Win10.0), 19 Apr 2018 18:57:

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
   at #=zWr01VTn_bPhXS9_zXtraq9PXvXF$.#=zl68OgS0y2MEO(#=z60EigjoUZwY_ILvJhRb7Oww= #=z9Os8tGAudaaV, Boolean #=zPwKY5BKm2QH9, #=zv2OcCOI= #=z3BtZoYQ=, #=zlxXdb0SA1Oy1Z$5SqhLSf2A= #=zN1rIRSv6njXp, Boolean #=z3G56_V9gps0f, #=zHTXJms5SJaVZYt4S$UTHS84= #=z4lIwiivsCiN3, #=z8kghGX4PqsqdGPSz17xDkGA=[] #=zNXFy0M$R4XvA, Boolean #=zLF04Uky68RcY)

Looks like I'm unable to create new auto playlists as well. If there are additional logs/info that I could provide to help, let me know.

Note, this has been happening a while (since 3.1 I believe) so I believe it's something unique on my set up that's causing this issue.

Does anyone know how to make this work with Musicbee 3.0?

Looking at your nick, do you have a library containing also a lot of classical music?
(it then could be worthwhile to tune your settings and tagging strategics to that too)
No, classical's one of my least represented genres in my library  ;D

Also I should look at installing Picard. Sounds like it's very useful.

This is all fantastic. I'll have to really sit down and learn most of the stuff.

Where to start?  Custom tags, virtual tags, highlighting, sending to external programs, custom toolbar... Those are some of the ones I use the most.  MusicBee completely changed the way I interact with my library.

I suggest looking through here, especially the "hidden" features thread: getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?board=7.0

Oh, and the usefulness of the additional tagging tools plug in cannot be overstated.
What do you use custom tags, virtual tags, highlighting, and sending to external programs for? I'm just curious.

And yeah I've had that plug-in but don't know what to do with it just yet.

As the title says, there are lots of aspects of Musicbee whether its from plugins or original functions that I never even ventured. I recently started utilizing the Inbox and MusicBee's automatic "Organise Files" function and I started loving it. And since there are lots of advanced users on this site, what and how do you use MusicBee and all of its tools?
