Hotkey to launch a specific song (within a playlist)

is there a way to assign a hotkey that would launch a specific song within a playlist, or within the current playlist?

Nothing like that currently exists.

My question is how would the hotkey know which song it was to launch? Unless you want the same song to launch each time you use the hotkey. This just doesn't seem practical. At least not in the way you're describing it.
