Not a big issue, but I'm assuming it's to signify that it's an audio file... but MB only plays audio files... Seems irrelevant. Would just look a bit nicer without the music not being repeated a few thousand times without giving any useful information.

It's an indicator that the file is in your Music Library (as opposed to the Audiobook Library, Inbox, etc).

MusicBee doesn't show a note next to my tracks.
Which version/view are you using?
Bee excellent to each other...

For me it's only there for searches. I find it very useful.

Oh... Okay. Still not something I need.

Ah, so it is. Still seems useless. What do you find useful about it?

I find its intended purpose, to know which node a file belongs to when it shows up in a search, useful. Not sure why I would need to justify that to someone who doesn't.

JZStudios, if you click the little magnifying glass and set searches to Local Node Only, the icon isn't shown.
Whether that suits you or not will depend on how you're using tabs and filters etc.

I'm guessing that'll work. I don't have anything fancy set up. Thanks.
