Filters are a good solution for a user who needs a division in his files,
Once selected they stay selected after closing the Library tab and even after a restart.
It's as good solution as running a second library,

That's why I think they will be better served in left size panel, where one could see clearly which one is on, and switch between them more easily.

Hope other people might think the same,
Thanks,

I think that's a very good idea. Filters would be easy accessible that way and users would use them more often (most likely instead of creating extra MB Libraries or Playlists).
However, I'd consider making Filters a separate node at the same level. Compare:

+ Libraries:
   - MusicBee -Libraries
   - Windows 7 Music Library (optional)

+Filters
       - Lossless
        - Classical
         - World

+ Playlists
  - Now Playing
  - Auto DJ
  - Recently Added
  - and so on ...
  - Top 25 least played ;-)
         [ - Never played]

+ Internet
   - Services
       - Upcoming Releases
       .....
   - MP3 Blogs
       - Fluxblog
      ....

+ Copmuter
  - Drive C
  - Drive D
  - Virtual Drive E
  ....

+ 1.          No matter, which proposal is eventually chosen, it would be much better solution than the current one.

EDIT:
Added the link to explain the idea of Windows 7 Music Library for users of older operating systems.

+1 for this suggestion, but I would prefer VX's variation of a separate node.

God I love this software.
Thanks for implementing this!

Hmm.. I hope I'm not coming off somewhat grabby, but I think that now they are showing, a way to control their order, and which one is at the top will be a welcome feature. now they are automatically rearrange in an alphabetic order, regardless of order of creation or anything like that.

I second Rotem's opinion. Thank you very much Steven for implementing the feature  :)
