I'm not sure what changed, but one of my virtual devices is syncing to my MusicBee directory instead of the directory it's configured for.  It has worked correctly in the past.  [Added] I have another virtual device that's working as expected.  It's not configured to sync playlists to their own directory, so maybe that's the problem?

Here are the device settings:

And here is where it synced to:

version 2.5.5542, if it matters.

I think I figured it out.  It seems to work right if I delete the "\" in the Playlists Path box.  (But then the settings won't save correctly, as reported in the past.)

I've found another problem with Virtual Device and "create a sub-folder for each playlist": with "delete tracks that are not on the auto-sync list" checked, nothing is deleted.  I'm currently syncing three playlists, and most of the files have ended up with multiple duplicates from reordering or adding tracks, which changes their position in the playlist and therefore the file name.  Even if I uncheck an entire playlist, no files are deleted from the destination folder.

yes that would be the case. Its functionality that hasnt been implemented and non-trivial to do so. I agree it needs to be done but it wont be for some time

Another note for when you get around to this: file names are not being truncated to a safe length.
