NOTES:

• This isn't a typical plugin but rather a separate app that extends the functionality of MusicBee to allow its floating windows to become detached from the main music player.

• Its use case is mainly to allow visualizers to run freely without having the player in frame. You can read more about it in the github repo for it.

• The link attached on this page is to a precompiled executable but here are instructions on how to compile it yourself if you so choose

How to use:

• Run the program after installing. A setup will show (all of its contents are optional and can be closed). If MusicBee is running with a floating window it will grab it and detach. There are no prompts on success, but there should be on failure by design.

This is made with Win 7,10, and 11 in mind. Any version of musicbee with floating window capabilities should work with this although largely untested, additionally win 8 & 8.1 should probably work.
