Like the subject said, I can't get MB to see my Ipod Nano 3g. I've been using this program since Lifehacker wrote a story about it, and I think it's pretty great, but I can't seem to get it to recognize my ipod. It just doesn't see it at all in device settings or wherever else it's supposed to be.

Any help?

have you ever used iTunes with it? It needs to have iTunes run at least once in order for certain files to be installed

Yes, and I did it again just a few minutes ago while trying to get this to work.

I use last.fm for scrobbling, and the only way I know to scrobble an ipod is through itunes, so I sync to it once a week, even if I then close itunes (I've always hated it).

i'm assuming its not on drives A or B (i have some floppy disc checking code for those drives)
could you zip the follow folder on the device:
iPod_Control\Device
iPod_Control\iTunes
and i'll try to check it out on the weekend
i'll PM you my email address

It's drive H. I will do it as soon as I can find my ipod cord. Why couldn't Apple use a universal standard?

yes it would be great if they did, but they seem to actively make life very hard for non-iTunes applications
