I listen to a lot of audio fiction podcasts.

There are two types of audio fiction feeds: short-form and long-form.

A short-form podcast can (mostly) be listened to in any order. There may be some episodes that are best listened to before other episodes, but you usually have warning about them.

Long-form podcasts, though, are a totally different matter. There is only one way to properly listen to a long-form audio fiction podcast: from the oldest episode to the newest.

I'd like the ability to randomize the podcasts I listen to -- even use the "Playlist Mixer" feature to add in songs here and there -- and make sure that I'm still listening to each podcast in the proper order.

Examples of long-form podcasts include:

Any audiobook hosted on http://podiobooks.com/ -- each book is available as a separate feed. (I'll let you pick your own sample feed.)

Authors who serialize their work over podcast, such as Scott Sigler : http://feeds.feedburner.com/scottsigler

Long-form audio drama with dedicated websites, such as: "We're Alive" http://feeds.feedburner.com/itpc/wwwwaylandws/Wayland_Productions/Were_Alive_-_Podcast/rssxml or "H.G. World" http://thirtyfifteennorth.podbean.com/feed/

There are also feeds that regularly have multiple episodes per story, such as "19 Nocturne Boulevard": http://nineteennocturne.libsyn.com/rss

Cheers,
